Chapter 13

Alya believed in many things but if you asked her if she believed Chloe could change, she'd say no. But she watched her talking with Kim and she knew she wasn't doing this on her own. 

Someone had to be behind the scenes, suggesting what to say, guiding her along. 

"Who's behind all this"? She asked the girls. "No one, Chloe's being nice all on her own" Mylene said. "I highly doubt that," Marinette said. 

"Maybe it's her lover" Rose sighed, romantically. Alix blushed and continued to stare at her phone. 

"Alix"? Juleka tapped her shoulder. "Are you the one who's helping Chloe"? Alya asked. "No" She lied. 

She was actually proud of Chloe. Over the past three day she had apologized to: Max for calling him a geek all the time, Kim for rejecting him in the most horrible way possible, Rose for ripping up her letter to the prince, Juleka for locking her in the bathroom, Mylene for stealing her spotlight.  Her and Sabrina even helped the three girls plant flowers at the park one day. 

"But you've been quiet for days," Marinette said. "So has Juleka" Alix stated. "But she's always quiet," Alya said. Alix's phone buzzed and she saw a text from Nathaniel.

Tomatoartist- I heard you got André's ice cream a couple days ago, what flavor did you get?

Skaterqueen- It's been three days, why do you care now?

Tomatoartist- I forgot to ask you, been busy with the comic book

Skaterqueen- Oh, I got lemon and blueberry

Tomatoartist- Girl, Boy or other?

Skaterqueen- Can't remember

Tomatoartist- You're lying

Skaterqueen- Maybe I am

Skaterqueen- Just don't tell anyone

Tomatoartist- I won't

Skaterqueen- thanks, bye

Tomatoartist- bye

"Who is that"? Mylene asked. "Natb, he was just asking a question" she answered. Another buzz. "Nathaniel needs to leave you be" Alya laughed. Alix shook her head.

Parisprincess- Allykins!

Skaterqueen- What?

Parisprincess- Meet me in the hallway

Skaterqueen- Ok?

"I got to go" Alix put her phone in her pocket and stood up. "Where are you going"? Alya asked. 

"You ask too many questions" Alix smirked and left. "She's right, you know" Marinette laughed, getting a huff from the brunette.

 Alix searched the halls for Chloe when she got pulled into an empty classroom. Alix leaned against the wall beside the door while Chloe looked out to see if anyone saw them. "What's got you freaking out"? Alix asked. 

Chloe closed the door and turned towards her, unaware of how close Alix was. Her breath hitched and Alix's stopped completely because their faces were so close. 

They both blushed and Alix moved away. Chloe sat in a chair and told her the situation, quickly moving on from what just happened. 

"How am I supposed to get Marinette, Alya and Nino to like me"?! She panicked. "Woah, first of all calm down" Alix sat beside her. Chloe wasn't calm, her heart was beating fast because of Alix. "I think you just need to apologize and then let it go, if they forgive you, great, if not..." Alix stopped.

 "If not what"? Chloe asked. "They'll forgive you, I don't know why I said that," she said. "Ok, I'm going to go apologize now" Chloe let out a breath. 

"Let's go" Alix smiled and held the door open for her. 

They walked back to the cafeteria and Alix stood by the door unnoticed, Chloe walking towards Nino and Ivan first. "Hey guys" she said as she neared the boys table. "Hi Chloe" Adrien greeted her. 

"I just wanted to apologize to Nino and Ivan" Chloe looked at Nino. "I'm sorry for calling you a terrible dj, I think you have a good future in that area and Ivan" she turned towards the bigger guy. "I'm sorry for making fun of your relationship with Mylene, I think you two make a cute couple". Adrien smiled. "Thank you Chloe," Ivan nodded. 

"Yeah, thanks dudette, we forgive you" Nino held up his fist. Chloe smiled and fist bumped him. "That means a lot to me, thank you" Chloe said before focusing on her next and last apologizes. 

"Hey Chloe"! Rose waved as she approached the table. "Where's Sabrina"? Mylene asked. "She's home sick, I'm visiting her after school if you want to join" Chloe said. 

"Of course we will, right girls"? Rose turned to Alya and Marinette who had suspicious looks on their faces. "Where's Alix"? Alya asked. 

"Art room with Nath" Chloe said and sat down. "Look I came over to say, I'm sorry for how I treated you two, Alya I shouldn't have gotten you suspended for nothing and make fun of you" Chloe took a deep breath. "And Marinette, I never had the right to treat you the way I used to, I'm sorry for everything I did to you, which is too long a list, I just want you to know I regret it all". 

Rose wiped away a couple tears. "That's so sweet, Chloe" She sniffed. 

"Chloe" Marinette laid her hand on her shoulder. "I forgive you and so does Alya". Alya nodded and Chloe teared up. "Thank you so much" she hugged Marinette tight. 

Alix saw them hug and walked over to them. "Allykins"! Chloe noticed her walking towards them. "Good things happen when I'm not here," Alix laughed. "Apparently" Alya laughed, forgetting former thoughts. The bell rang to signal the end of lunch. 

They all left the cafeteria and walked to Ms. Bustier's class. "You guys go in, I need to talk to Chloe" Alix told them once they got there. Everyone nodded and went to the classroom. Alix turned to talk to the blonde but was interrupted by a hug. 

"Thanks for your help" Chloe whispered. Alix blushed and wrapped her arms around her. "I knew you could do it," she said. Chloe didn't mind when her cheeks began to match Alix's hair. They stayed there longer than friends should. Alix pulled away and Chloe almost sighed. 

She wants to hold her longer. 

"Come on Bourgeois, it's time to learn history" Alix laughed and pulled her into the classroom. "Only you'd be excited about that, Kubdel," Chloe teased. Alix stuck her tongue out at her and sat in her seat. Chloe smiled and slid into her empty seat. 

"Poor Sabrina" Chloe thought, looking at the spot beside her. "I'll bring her something to cheer her up". 

"I might have a new ship," Alya whispered to Marinette. "Really"? She furrowed her eyebrows. "Who"? 

"Chloe and Alix," she said. 

"Ok I need an explanation or something" Marinette said. "Here's my list that I just made with the help of some people" Alya showed her a piece of paper.

"Chloe only calls people who are close to her —kins. Alix has been quiet all week due to the fact she can barely talk about Chloe without turning even the slightest bit pink. And everytime we mention her, she blushes. Alix also hated it when we were talking about Chloe that she left everytime we started. Chloe keeps looking at Alix whenever she can. And according to Nathaniel, Alix wanted him to draw Queen bee and when Chloe asked why he drew it and mentioned Alix, she blushed".

"Oh is that all"? Marinette teased. "I believe it is," Alya nodded. "Who's all in on this"? the bluenette asked.

"Everyone, I'll add you to the group chat" Alya typed something and Marinette's phone buzzed.

"There, we'll talk more after class," she said when she saw Ms. Bustier walk in.
