17. Just A Little More

Sinalubong kami nila Ally pagkapasok namin ng hotel room. 

"Kamusta ang date?" she inquired.

"It's just a lunch with my sister" I answered.

"Yow Re, mamansin ka naman, by the way bagay sayo yang glasses mukha ka na talagang nerd" natatawang aniya.

"Stop with your stereotyping, hindi lahat ng nakasalamin nerd" wika ni Re at lumapit sa kinaroroonan ni Belle.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Ally at mahinang tumawa. Napapailing na sumunod kami sa kanya sa guest area, umupo ako sa tabi ni Re. Dumating si Mark na may dalang pagkain at inabala naman ni Ally ang sarili nya sa paghahanap ng movie.

I leaned back on the couch and closed my eyes. Somehow nakaramdam ako ng pagod, I take a deep breath. Goosebumps rose in my skin when someone whispered in my ear. I quickly opened my eyes and saw Re's worried face.

"Y-yeah I'm fine" I answered.

Tahimik lang kamimg nanonood ng animated films na syang pinili ni Ally. Its about a girl- an aspiring musician who fell inlove with her sister's ex-boyfriend. The story is bit complicated I'll say because the protagonist is more likely inlove with the younger version of the guy yet disliked the present matured version. Overall it's a good film, but I'm not a fan of it.

"Para kang tanga, Ally" anas ni Mark nang mapansing umiiyak ito sa gilid ng couch.

"Bakit ba? Nakakaiyak kaya. Bakit kasi hindi na lang sila nagkatuluyan, mas bagay si Aoi at Shinno?"

"Imposible naman yun, duh highschool student si Aoi at nasa 30's na si Shinno" sabat ni Belle.

"I mean yung Shinno from the past, aminin mo mas may chemistry sila"

"Like I said it's impossible, the younger version of Shinno and present Shinno ay iisang tao pa rin, they can't coexist. Atsaka deserve ng ate nya ending after everything she did for her"

"Sang ayon ako kay class rep. mukhang nang matanda si Shino para kay Aoi, saka mas maganda si Akane kay Aoi" segunda ni Mark.

"Andun na ako pero si Aoi ang main character at mas mukhang mas mahal nya si Shinno kaysa sa Akane na sobrang dull ng character. Ikaw Shan ano sa tingin mo?"

"I see your point, Akane character is lacking,  showing no interest at all. But I can't go with Aoi with the present Shinno either. Aoi and the teen version of Shinno was more likable but just like Belle said the two versions of Shinno can't coexist"

"Hindi ko pa rin tanggap yung ending, masyadong corny parang binasta na yung ending nakakainis sobrang lame"

"Andami mong angal ikaw na lang kaya magdirek at magproduce" sarkastikong sabi ni Mark na ikinatawa namin. Just like that they started bickering again.

"Kung makapagsalita ka akala mo naintidihan mo yung kwento"

"Anong akala mo sakin bobo?"

"Hindi ka nagkakamali dyan"

"Makapagsalita ka. Naintindihan ko naman yung kwento sadyang baduy ka lang na hindi matanggap na hindi nagkatuluyan yung bida at si Shinno"

"Tumigil nga kayong dalawa, ansakit nyo sa ulo" sita ni Belle.

"What about you, Re? What do you think about the ending?" I asked curiously.

"Aoi role as bass player is to provides rhythmic and harmonic foundation that supports the band..She is just like her instrument, a supporting character who will give spice in the story. So there's nothing more or less in the ending"
