Up and Down love

Part 10

Anna:

It's been two days and the stupid court still hasn't given a date! Now Ag is taking a punishment that she shouldn't even be taking. They sent her straight into the juvenile detention center.

This is all because someone didn't agree with us. With how we lived and loved each other. 

The whole moment played in my head over and over again which caused me to get little sleep at night. Me getting pushed out of it. The fists and the blood that came with that. Next thing I knew the guy was laid flat out and unconscious. I wasn't scared of Ag, but I could see there was little to no control at all. The more I yelled the more she was gone.

All of a sudden the police pulled up and she was taken away and charged with assault. It's just what this was over is what kept me awake at night. I guess I just have to get used to it? No, I was with Ag and that is all that mattered. No one's opinions or actions could change the way that I feel. They never should...

(The doorbell rings)

I jumped as I heard the doorbell ring. I heard my mom open the door. "Hello, officer."

"Morning Ma'am, I am here to inform you of the court arrangements."

"I am hoping they are good?"

"The investigators have switched up the charges. They decided that this a hate crime and the man responsible will be put up for questioning. Justice will be served and we apologize for all the complications..."

"Thank you, officer. Is Ag still being held in the detention center?"

"No Ma'am, she was moved to a better facility and will stay there until tomorrow's case. We will bring her in and then after she is allowed to go back home."

"We appreciate that officer."

"I must say Ma'am that I hold this close to my heart. My oldest daughter just came out to my wife and me. I can't believe how this must be for you. I just wanted to say I am sorry that this even happened."

"No one ever said love was easy, but thank you again."

"Have a good day Ma'am."

"You too!"

As she closed the door she let out a sigh of relief. "I assume you heard all that?"

I ran down the stairs and threw my arms around her.

"Everything will be okay. Now let me go call Ag's parents. I am sure they will want to book an early flight."

All I could think of was how justice will be served.

Ag:

Thankfully they moved me to a better facility for the night and the charges were changed and switched. The bastard would get what he deserves!

I just hope she didn't notice how I couldn't control myself. I couldn't even remember what happened. By my bruised knuckles and busted eye, I have a feeling shit went down hard. 

I'd do anything to protect her and the fact it was a first public day out and this happened... Would she even want to go out again? 

All because we are two girls...FU*K! 

This man isn't even prepared for my wrath...
