Up and Down love

Part 24

Anna:

Like I have said from the very beginning she could be all jacked up and till be the most gorgeous human I have ever seen. 

It was 2am and I have been sitting in the chair next to her for what felt like days. I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers. All of this made me think of what she told me before, you think you have someone for one second and the next second they seem to be gone. I'm here with her, but she isn't here with me. For a couple of days, she has been out of it. She gets up and then goes right back down. Tears ran down my face and burned my skin. 

"What the hell have I done?" I whispered. 

I looked up when I realized she was squeezing my hand. "Hi bubs," she said in a raspy voice.

"Holy shit!" I jumped up and let my lips rest on her forehead. "I am so sorry..."

She shook her head, "I don't even want to think about that right now. I just want this moment. You're cute when you're concerned you know."

My cheeks flushed red and I hid my face behind my hands. 

"What even happened?"

I looked down at the floor. "We were on the phone and then suddenly you collided into another person. Doctor said your going to be alright. You got lucky because you seemed to have only bruised your ribs." I rubbed my temples. "Since you have been out for awhile your almost completely healed."

I could see the discomfort in her eyes and she moved. "If I'm healed why am I still here?"

"Because you have been unconscious..."

"Gotcha." She laid her head back. "You know after this, I don't want any more fights or drunk calling. I don't care what I have to do, but I know that I want you. I need you in my life."

I nodded my head, "Yeah... no more attitudes or pettiness."

"And if there is a problem or whatever just talk to me first before letting your mind take you places." She took my hand again, "because I know you do. I do it too. Way too often, but I trust you and I love you. That is stronger than the thoughts."

A wave of tiredness came over me and I set myself back in the chair. 

"Also Anna?"

"Mmm yeah?"

"If I ever see Ethan around you again he will regret it. I was 100% sober when I beat him up."

I looked over at her, but she had closed her eyes. 

That's my baby...
