Up and Down love

Part 12

Anna:

Does she love me?

Should she love me?

I leaned in closer in case I missed it or anything...

Ag spoke up, "I...I do, yes I do. Very much."

I sat back and let my breath come at a steady pace. She loves me...

"Thank you, Ms. McDaniel. Ladies and gentlemen of the Jury we are here because a man simply didn't fancy the way society has come to accept. No matter your color, race, gender, culture, or sexuality we are all equal. Our world wants equality yes?" Most of the jury shook their heads. "Then let this beautiful couple go and bring them justice. This is an obvious hate crime that should not be ignored. Because in the end Love is Love and love is what brings us all together."

The clapping started low until the whole place erupted. You could even hear it from outside the courthouse. This is so big that they were broadcasting it. 

"ORDER IN THE COURT!" The judge boomed. "Although some may feel this way we still have to hear the other party's reasoning. 

My heart went from a flutter to a certain stop... 

The judge spoke again, "Mr. Wilson would you please make your way to the stand?"

The creep got up and started to make his way. Ag was let down and was in her chair. She turned around and looked at me for reassurance. I gave her a little wink. She returned with a lip bite. Oh, how hot she looked all rough and tough. Made me want to do all sorts of things!

The questioning started and his lawyer stood up. 

"Mr. Wilson, what was your reasoning for approaching these girls?"

No response...

"I'll ask again, Mr. Wilson what was your reasoning for approaching these girls?"

No response...

The judge spoke in, "Mr. Wilson by law you must answer..."

We all watched in horror as he started to foam in the mouth. It was a little and then it turned into a lot. He grabbed tight to his chest as he hit the floor. Blood seeped from his head and his body went into full seizure mode.  The whole crowd up roared in screams. 

The guards jumped the gates and got to him as quickly as possible. Next thing the medics are kicking down the door and the room went quiet...

They were running tests and checking for a pulse.

"Nothing" whispered one of the medics.

Nothing?

We all watched as they reacted in the back of his throat and there it was as they pulled it out. Cyanide... 

Ag:

 Did he kill himself? What have I done? This was all my fault if I just didn't react and kept my damn cool. Suddenly I was lifted out of my chair and pushed outside the doors. I reached for Anna, but she was gone. The van was pulled back as the cameras swarmed once again. WHAT THE HELL WAS HAPPENING?! 

They shoved me in and closed the door. The driver hit the gas and I was back to the facility...

Anna:

Wait a second where was she being taken?! Why did they take her?! My mom grabbed me and took me to the car.

"Mom, what is going on?"

"I was advised to take you home by one of the officer's. This is now a crime scene."

"Where did they take Ag?!"

"She is back at the facility being checked."

"For?"

"Possible poisoning..."

"Like she would ever poison anyone! This makes no sense."

"If they don't find anything, which they won't, she will be given back to her parents and then will have to go back to Kentucky."

"WHAT?!"

"Listen Honey I don't understand either, but this is more than just a hate crime..."
