"... Savannah! ....... SAV!" She heard along with her alarm clock as she awoke with a startling gasp, looking around the room. Beside her bed she saw her roommate and best friend Alice. "Come on sleepy head! We're gonna be late for class" Alice chuckles as she turns to finish packing her bag for the day. With a groan, Savannah pulled herself from bed and to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Once she was done and they'd had breakfast, they made their way to the on campus coffee shop to purchase their morning dose of caffeine before heading to class.

Later that day Savannah was sorting through her notes from her classes that day and filing them away under the right tabs in her binder when there was a knock at the door. Chuckling to herself and shaking her head gently she walked to the door and reached for the handle, "how many times do I have to tell you to remember your ke-" as she looked up from unbolting and opening the door, she froze in place. She was in utter disbelief and shock. He was there at her door. At her dorm. At Langston... It had been months since than seen each other last.

She panicked, slamming the door shut and pressing her back to it, panic setting in she started to hyperventilate wondering how? What? Why? Why... now? She was just starting to get over there painful departure and he's back.... Steeling herself and swallowing hard, she wiped away the tears that stung her eyes and slowly opened the door again. He was still standing there, smiling at her with a single flower in his hand. "Hey Troublemaker" he said calmly with a small smile and held the flower out towards her. She took it and looked at it for a long moment before looking back up at him, returning his smile. "H-hey. Did you... wanna come in?" She asked and stepped aside. Giving a small nod he stepped inside and looked around the room. "Cozy..." he said and sat in a chair. Savannah put the flower in some water and then joined him, taking a seat on her bed. "What are you doing here Logan?" She asked and he chuckled, "you always did get straight to the point, didn't you?"

With her roommate out until the next evening Savannah spent most of the night talking with Logan and catching up. Before long her stomach rumbled, so she moved to the kitchen to make herself some ramen noodles and get a treat herself to a glass of wine. "Is that your new definition of fine dining" Logan teased as he stood in the kitchen doorway. Savannah laughs at his remark despite herself and takes a sip of wine "you know... I do call this fine dining. But only because since I moved out, I can swap the glass of water for wine." She replied, holding a serious tone. More time passes and she shares her noodles with Logan, he helps her study. Finally there's one thing left between them. Silence. They stare at each other as Savannah puts her stuff away on her shelf and makes her bed. The silence remains until one of them speaks.

"I... I somehow earned my freedom." Logan says tonelessly as he stares at the floor. Shock washes over Savannah as she turns to face him, "what... how? We- it doesn't ma-" she starts to talk back, but Logan puts a finger on her lips, a hint of a smile playing on his. "Your father... he... he helped us out. Everyone. Colt, Ximena, Toby... even Mona. He was shown the Evidence we captured that night in your school parking lot. Made it his mission to track us all down. We were locked in for questioning. Thought it was over. I thought I'd never see you again. But, one of us, we must... we must have said something that changed his mind. He is a great detective Savannah, and you're lucky to have him. Hell, I'm lucky to have him and he tried to kill me" he says and pauses for a breath, "He... he spoke to his higher ups and made a deal.... he remains in the police force but takes a standard position, the MPC walks free and the Brotherhood ends up in solitary confinement for 2 years before being moved to a maximum security prison for the rest of their lives. But I had to make him a personal promise. To keep you safe, make sure you're okay out here...." he continues, now holding hands with Savannah, he looks down blinking back tears. And that was weird for Savannah, she'd never seen him this close to crying before, it panged painfully in her chest like nothing else ever had. She leaned forward and kissed his forhead, squeezing her hands he smiled and sniffed looking back up at her. "I also have to get an education under my belt and uh... I'm your new roommate?" He finished.

She looks into his eyes in complete disbelief then brakes out into a smile "Really? ... you're going to be normal Logan? No running? Or hiding? Or plotting something against other people? Just... just.... Logan?" She spoke hopefully and he nods then explains how the switch over of roommates will happen.
