"let me curl your hair." jaden looks at me with gleaming eyes

"just don't burn yourself." i say to him, "or me. i don't want people to think i have a hickey."

jaden carefully takes a strand of my hair and wraps it around my curling iron, "your hairs really soft." he breaks the non-awkward silence

"thanks." i chuckle

"i like your outfit too." he says, "it's e-girlish"

"e-girlish?" i raise an eyebrow, "is that even a word?"

"it is now." he curls another piece of hair, "and done."

"you're fast." i say, "let me put my shoes on and i'll be ready to go."

i'm wearing a black one shoulder long sleeve and a black and white checkered skirt from urban outfitters. i decided on a couple of gold rings i thrifted and a pair of white doc martens to go with it. i had a natural makeup look on with nude lipstick and obviously jaden curled my hair.

jaden had on a plain white t-shirt with tiny rips and holes in it, and a pair of cheetah 5.5 inch shorts and white converse high tops with it. he looked good, like always.

"ready?" he looks at me

"yep." i nod and we walk hand in hand down the stairs of sway house

"guess i'm not the last one to be ready." josh jokes as we step off the last step. i knew he was going to bitch about that.

"is everyone ready?" jaden says to charli, dixie, griffin, josh, bryce, nick and addison

tonight we're going to hype house for a influencer party they're hosting. i think thomas invited a bunch of random influencers and everyone who was invited to dinner, so it should be a fun night.

"i'm just trynna get briar hammered." nick shakes me

"not gonna happen." i roll my eyes

"yes it will." dixie chimes in, "i always get hammered when i'm with nick, join the club."

"thanks for the offer nicky." i say, "but i'm not getting drunk tonight."

"whatever you say briar." nick sings

we finally pull up to the infamous hype house. i'm glad we did too, because i'm tired of nick and bryce fighting in the back seat about who gets drunk the quickest. bryces vote was josh while nicks was bryce.

"i can't believe you think i get drunk the quickest." bryce continues to complain as jaden parks his black tesla

"bryce you literally drink like four white claws in three minutes then do a keg stand and you're wasted." nick argues

"bruce you couldn't hang in a frat." griffin chimes in making the argument ten times worse now

"what did you say." bryce hisses, "did you just call me bruce?"
