the tension in the sway house was high after chase had posted his new instagram post. everyone knew some of it was fake, but not everyone knew some was true. the moment chase posted that, everyone started freaking out. briar was up in jadens room sobbing, jaden was ranting about chase and how he made his "girl" cry. bryce, josh, anthony and blake have been out all day filming a youtube video. quinton and cooper were listening to jaden edge on and on about chase and how he wanted to beat him up.

"we're pulling up." jaden looks at cooper and quinton

"what?" quinton chokes on his soda,
"you're kidding right?"

"i'm being deadass." he stands up, "i wanna talk to him in person. what he did was fucked up."

"alright bet." cooper smiles, "let's go."

"lemme go get bri." jaden says,
"i don't wanna leave her alone here."

"such a simp." quinton whispers to cooper and laughs

"i heard that!" jaden calls from the stairs

as jaden got closer to his now shared room again with briar. she'd moved back in from the damelio house a couple weeks ago since her and jaden decided to start "talking" again.

his room was silent, only a couple off sniffs could be heard. he knocked gently on the door and carefully opened the door knob. he saw the girl curled up into a ball with some tissues beside her and her phone turned off face down on.

"bri?" he whispers

he foot twitches and his sits up slowly, rubbing her eyes and yawning, "jaden?" she mumbles

he sits beside of her pulling her into his chest, "we're gonna go to hype house to talk to chase." he says after a while of just sitting there in her presence,
"do you want to come?" he asks

"i wanna lay into this kid." she answers,
"why would he do something like this?" she groans

"i don't know bri." he kisses her forehead, "i'll go tell the boys to get ready." he starts getting up and shuts the door behind him

bri slowly got out of jadens oddly comfortable bed, everyone knew the kid didn't have sheets on his bed. she flipped the pillow over that she was sobbing into and folds the vera bradley blanket she was using, it was a gift from charli and dixie. she look at herself in his bathroom mirror before cringing in disgust. she splashed cold water on her face before drying it off with a towel. she put some mascara on and some lip gloss before changing into a pair of tie dyed sweatpants she got from a store on rodeo drive and a white tank top with a pair of jordan high tops that matched the sweatpants.

the friends all piled into jadens car on their way to the hype house, which was maybe twenty minutes from sway.

jaden was ranting about chase the entire way over to hype house. his free leg was bouncing on the floor and his hand was gripped on the steering wheel and the other was squeezing briars thigh.

finally, jadens black car whips into their driveway. immediately there's tayler and tony outside waiting on them. jaden had texted tayler that they're coming to talk.

he parks car and everyone quickly jumps out. he grabs briars hand and they approach tayler and tony, "where is he?" jaden asks
