the sun was shining down in the familiar new jersey backyard, family and friends were gathered to watch the music video briar and jaden had worked so hard on with there record label in la. today briar had on a short baby blue dress that was flowy with white sandals on, her hair was curled and she had the ring and necklaces jaden had gotten for her. while jaden had on a pair of white skinny jeans with rips in them and the same baby blue color button down polo shirt, but unbuttoned, so you could see his tattoos and a pair of white air forces with it. they purposely matched for this special moment.

angelica had rented a blowup movie screen to place on the backside of the house so everyone could watch the music video right when it dropped. briars nonna had made even more food, she even made briars favorite from her restaurant, carbonara pasta. a local bakery in briars nonnas town, made a large cake for them, vanilla and strawberry flavored.

"look at you two." angelica smiles widely, "can i take another picture?" she asks and the two nod, "of course momma." briar answers

briar stands next to jaden and places her tanned hand on his chest and smiles brightly, and jaden wrapping an arm around briars waist pulling her even closer to him, if that was even humanly possible.

"perfect." she lowers her phone,
"i'll have to frame this one on my fridge." she says

"i'd be honored to be on the vanderbilt fridge." jaden jokes

once all the of the guests arrive and they all bud congratulations to briar and jaden, they all stand around the backyard waiting for the video to be released. but before everyone watches it, jaden decided that he wanted to talk a little bit about the video and him and briars relationship, so everyone who didn't know, could have a little background on it.

"you ready?" briar looks at jaden as he gulps

he nods, "there's a lot of people here."

"they're all proud of us." she reminds him, "don't be nervous." she grabs his hand squeezing it a little

"i'm not nervous." he shakes his head

"yeah sure." briar rolls her eyes, "i love you." she closes the gap between their lips

"i love you so much more." he smiles in their kiss

jaden helps briar onto the wooden stage that was still set up from briars graduation party, and he climbs up after her. after he taps the microphone twice, all of the crowd turns around to face him and he latches hands with briar.

"hi how is everyone this evening?" jaden speaks into the microphone

"we're good!" jaden makes out nick beans loud voice in the front near the movie screen which causes the crowd to laugh

"good to hear nick." jaden chuckles, "so as everyone knows, we've gathered here today to watch and listen to my beautiful girlfriend and i's cover of the famous song, the night we met, by the lord huron." he says, "ever since the first time we met, for some reason, that song, has been briar and i's song. i think it's because that's what we captioned our instagram pictures when we ever posted eachother for the first time." he chuckles, "the night we met, has stuck. and never in my life would i ever change the night we met." he looks at briar as his eyes start to water, "briar i love you so much. and i'm so thankful for you. i thank god everyday for you and our friendship and now relationship." he smiles, "i cannot wait to grow old with you." he kisses her cheek making everyone in the crowd cheer and holler
