It was finally time for him to go on the princess's quest to the dark kingdom.He was making some adjustments to his air balloom when someone in a cape approached him.
"Hey ,kid, meet us at noon before you go-My bosses want a talk with you"
"And why should I-"
"is for the secret that remains in jail"
"Oh yeah right I-I will be there" -said Varian defeated ,knowing this will not end well.

Noon approached too fast for his liking. He had everything ready, from his clothes to his alchemy equipment .This shouldn't be too long, didn't want to be discovered when he have just gained their trust again.He was walking around the castle halls for one last time and saw his adopted mother .He thought he had time for a farewell.
"Queen Arianna"
"My child, I hear you were leaving soon ."
"Yeah I am leaving just now and I only wanted to thank you for everything; for forgiving me ,for being there and be like the mom I never get to know so well"-he said whith some tears in his eyes.
The queen seeing this hugged him tighly in reasurance and told him
"Is alright ,my child,all is in the past .There is nothing to worry about now"
"I wish that was true, mom"
"We will find a solution, don't worry and you are able to help now. Isn't that what you wanted ?"
"It is but I'm still scare I won't figure it out in the end"
"But you will ,I am sure of that .You are more than capable to do that, my child"-she said with a warm smile that Varian corresponded with a smaller one.
"Thanks you so much, mom ,I will miss you"
"I will miss you too, but we will meet again .Don't doubt about it"
"I don't, mom"-he said with a sad but calm smile on his face and pulled appart from the hug to leave.
'If you only knew Queen ,what have I done. You wouldn't forgive me so easily'he thought hurt and regretful.
He finally got to the Corona walls scourted by Peter and Stan. They say their goodbyes and alert him to follow the path they indicate in the map and he agreed quite distracted with his thoughts. 'They must be here any minute, Varian, don't freak out'
"Hello, kid"-someone said from the bushes startling him at once.
"Hi, partner" -he said nervously
"Hi ,did you do what we told you to do, partner?-he say in a low voice.
"Yes, here. These are the solutions you asked for"
"Have you by any chance spill the beans?"-he said menancily
"No, no one knows about this"
"Good ,because things will get crazy now"-said a woman with red hair and grey clothes-Lady Caine.
"You didn't told me there were more people in your gang"
"His gang?, kid, I am Lady Caine. I have my own gang, just make some aliances in order to reach my goals"-said her with a evil smirk on his face.
"Alright I suppose ...well I give you what you needed ,now ,you can let me go"
"You are not going anywhere "
"You must make us more equipment and start making that big project of yours"
"But i don't wan-"
"Did we ask you? We order it, besides wouldn't you like to make your father proud for once."-said the evil lady.
"How did you-"
"Your partner told me the reason behind your betrayal. Together we can make them pay.Are you up for it or would you rather die by our hands?"
"What but-"
"No buts. Who betrays Saporia pays with his life"
"I-I okI will.Just please go. I need to make an important trip."
"As you wish, boss"-they both said in mockery.
Varian was sure this have been the worst on his decisions. He was so desesperate back them that he relied on people like them .He have to get going now, if he wanted to fix what still could be fixed.

She entered the room looking for Raps but now ,with all she knew, she couldn't stand her anymore.She would pay for ignoring her, she would pay for always making her second place in everything ,she would pay for being a bad friend, she would pay for all the things she had done to her ,to him, to everyone.She was lucky enough to trust anybody on her side- not anymore.
She wrote a letter ,another one she didin't knew if it would be send .In the letter said:
'All i believed was a lie,
I thought i could live with all of it.
With my father and friends and a dream to come true, but I realize that even if your that 'lucky'; something will always break down in the end. Guess I was wrong in trusting anyone but myself, thought you are a still an exception.How you are? Already on the road? .Answer me when you get close to ou-my path-she wrote in instict .She surprised herself being so personal in a note and thinking to send it to him .
She decided to rewrite a short version on the letter but seeing she couldn't bring herself to make it over again-
She gave a heavy sight and called Owl to send the letter with him.
"Take this to you know who ,but this time look for him on the road .i believe he have been freed .I can feel it in my gut."
The owl fly away as Cass recalled what she have just written .She add his name and the nickname after saying'is not the right time still' .She wondered if anyday soon there would be a good new reason and to live life for.She didn't want hers anymore-She thought with teary eyes as she finally let herselft break down in the privacy of the woods with the sounds of the night and shinning moom upon her.
The only consolation in the dark times for her.
