3rd POV

Yamada's eyes went wide and he sputtered out an answer. "What?!"

Ok so Aizawa had jumped the gun a little there, he told Yamada most of the story but never actually brought up the possibility of actually having a child, and even Aizawa was a little skeptical but let's face it. The kid never looked anything like Midoriya Hisashi, even now if the vigilante was telling the truth about being Midoriya Izuku, he really looks nothing like the string bean of a man his father was. Not to mention he had naturally red/orange hair that always looked even more orange in the sunlight and light orange eyes. (I feel like I just explained Hinata or something- no, this is just how Hisashi is going to look in this story.) And if we were still being honest, Izuku didn't act much like his mother or Hisashi. Hisashi always had an angry and physically violent way of getting his point across whereas Inko was nice through and through.

The young, legally classified, villain was neither. He wasn't always nice, but he was never downright mean necessarily.

When Aizawa still hadn't explained Yamada spoke up again, "You have a son?" He asked softly.

He definitely wasn't mad, as much as you expected someone to be in that situation, Yamada was an understanding person. Though it hurt him slightly that Aizawa hadn't told him before.

"U-um well I don't really know.. Inko and I completely ignored that possibility. We never really knew but I just feel like that's the kind of luck we got." Aizawa whispered almost, sinking further into Yamada's embrace now that he was a little calmer. "I've always wanted a child Zashi.."

Yamada smiled at that, no matter how hostile and unapproachable Aizawa seemed, he really was just a big softy. A softy who had a big heart for kids ranging from new borns to the minute they turn to adults.

"I know." Yamada said softly.

Izuku opted for sitting outside the cave the rest of the morning, seeing as he never got much peace when he tried to go into town. He sat in the sand, crying slightly as he continued to look at the locket.

Izuku really doesn't remember much from his childhood, the trauma of the crash was locked away without ever wanting to unlock them. He did however remember little snippets of Inko, her calling him for dinner, her letting him play with Katsuki, Katsuki being one of the only other people he remembered from his childhood.

Hisashi? Izuku didn't even remember what he looked like. Though that could be because Izuku didn't even remember really meeting his father for long periods at a time. Just an occasion, every other Christmas, things like that. Mitsuki was more of a father than Hisashi ever was.

Yes he said father.

When he wanted to do anything remotely sports related, rough house, or mess around with someone it was Mitsuki. If he ever had trouble dealing with bullies that Katsuki couldn't handle, he went to Mitsuki.

That women was scarier than dirty dish water.

"Zuzu, what are you doing out here?" A tired looking Shinsou asked as he stepped out of the cave, plopping down next to Izuku. That's how Izuku ended up supporting Shinsou's entire body on his side.

He laughed a little. "You shouldn't be up this early Hito." Izuku said softly, running a hand up and down Shinsou's back.

"You weren't there and I was ready to whoop your ass for leaving to patrol and then I found you out here. Why don't you come inside, it's cold out here." Shinsou mumbled into Izuku's shoulder, savoring whatever heat Izuku was giving off.

Izuku looked up and the sun had fully set, so he had no doubt it was cold, but it was less cold then earlier at least. He took a deep breath of morning air and was about to get up until he heard Shinsou ask a question.

"I've never seen that necklace before, where did you get it?" He asked shyly.

Izuku half smiled and put the necklace back around his neck, standing up and offering Shinsou a hand.

"That doesn't matter now. Come on, let's get you some more sleep."

Hours later when Shinsou did wake back up, Izuku had a small breakfast of fresh bread and and water for him ready.

As Shinsou ate, Izuku spoke up.

"I've been going awfully easy on you these past three months, now that I know you're ok and well and you've grown stronger, you're going to start helping out around here and we'll get you on an actual training schedule so you can come patrol with me more often. That alright?" Izuku asked.

He wasn't eating anything which bothered Shinsou. Izuku obviously needed it, he may be fast and somewhat strong and seems to spawn energy as easily as his mood swings but he was painfully short and too skinny. Way too skinny.

Keep in mind that's coming from a boy who had also been malnourished and starved his entire life. Shinsou right now was about 5'5, and if he kept on this normal schedule he would likely grow inches more. Izuku was only around 5'1, barely. Sure he was a fourteen year old and usually boys grow slower than girls, but god if that's the case he was sure one hell of a slow grower. (Grower?😂)

Shinsou nodded and Izuku smiled.

"Perfect, your first task is to find a subtle source of income. It doesn't have to be too much at first but anything helps. For example I help out at a bakery everyone week and get free bread in return. I clean houses for a living which doesn't only get me money, but also gets me the canned beans. Just the little things."

Shinsou nodded again and fell into thought, what could he do that would get them resources and money? Or one or the other?

"As for training, we'll start out light, three times a week." Izuku said, grabbing Shinsou's cup and washed it with the clean water he had.

Recently he had actually saved up enough to be a safe water filter and it was helping out a lot. Not only with washing the two or three dishes they had, but also drinking and washing up. Though sometimes that was a hassle and Izuku and Shinsou just washed up in the sea at night, it got the dirt off. What's the worst that would happen? (Hypothetically a lot, don't recommend)

"Why do we have to act like we're starting over? We already started training." Shinsou asked confused.

Izuku looked at him for a second, observing that he was serious and answered. "Shinsou, those were 5 minute runs and a few things of cardio a day to get your body to a normal mass. You ain't seen nothing yet." Izuku jokingly said, laughing as Shinsou just gave him an even more confused look.
