3rd POV

Izuku continued to wince as Recovery Girl dragged him by the ear towards her office.

"You are absolutely reckless! I have never met someone as reckless as you and I work at a hero school for gods sakes!" She ranted, leading the teenager through the halls.

"Ma'am, if I may-"

"You may not!" Recovery Girl shrieked.

She had already healed him, every injury was fully closed now and Izuku was feeling better. The energy depletion was more than he had expected though so when he started to sway while standing, Recovery Girl had started dragging him.

Shinsou continued to laugh from a few feet behind. It was funny until he got caught by Recovery Girl as well so he stayed far out of her range.

"Now lay down child! You mustn't waste your energy." She said like she hadn't just dragged him by the ear through half the school.

Izuku laid down and rubbed his sore ear. If he was going to be dragged to this school, he would purposefully stay away from the nurses office. At all costs.

Once Recovery Girl left Shinsou walked up to Izuku.

"You got.. stabbed.." Shinsou said hesitantly. "Twice. And! And I know that one of those was my fault! But.. Izuku are you still being careful when you're fighting?" Shinsou asked.

Izuku was left to process for a second, Shinsou just went through 7 different emotions in 3 seconds.

"And I get if you're not, you have ever right to your own self health, but I just want you to stay happy even if I didn't keep my promise to stay by your side-"

"Don't be silly." Izuku giggled slightly. "You're by my side right now. Every second you're making up for what you did. I may have said it would take a while to trust you but you're always going to be the reason I feel."

Shinsou gave Izuku an indecipherable look and smiled back.

"Another thing.. this is totally off topic but do you know who Todoroki Shoto is..?"

"That makes no sense though Hitoshi." Izuku insisted yet again.

For the past 30 minutes Hitoshi had been trying to explain his theory. Shoto had fallen ill only days before Izuku was poisoned. When he thought about it, side effects took form of fevers a lot of the time when someone was poisoned.

"The is no evidence Hitoshi. Look at it from a reasonable perspective. They happened at different times on different days, I was poisoned and he just has a fever. That's all it could possibly be!" Izuku continued to fight.

Because if that was true and there was someone running rouge with the ability to inflict poisons not only on other people but at their will.

And that meant he had missed a villain.

But that couldn't be right, he had never failed to find a villain. Whether he had immediately taken them down or not. He always knew that they were at least on the board.

"Come on Izu! There are so many different poisons that induce fevers. And I heard he's getting no better! Why can't we just go check?" Shinsou pressed.

Maybe it was because Izuku was scared of being wrong, but he just couldn't stray away from the fact that this could be pure coincidence. Shoto has shown no signs towards being poisoned in any way.
