I know I said I wasn't publishing chapters for this book and was working on different ones but I had a bad day overall and writing these chapters always makes my day better.
Also I ran into someone who just completely bashed my writing so if it seems like I'm trying a little too hard for this chapter it's because I'm back to being impossibly insecure about my writing.
3rd POV
Denki woke up to a soft light making its way through the windows.
Yawning he assumed it was pretty early. It only confirmed his assumption when he looked up to see Shoto still sleeping. Usually he got up pretty early.
Denki carefully wiggled out of Shoto's loose hug and replaced himself with a pillow as he quietly walked to the door.
"Mm.." Shoto groaned, turning on his side and hugging the pillow. "While you're up can you get me an ibuprofen? And turn on the fan? It's hot in here.." He mumbled.
Denki nodded understandingly, even though it was nearing the end of summer it still tended to be hot. So he turned on the fan and walked downstairs, finding no one awake. He quietly grabbed a glass from the cupboard and filled it with water before grabbing the small ibuprofen bottle and walking back upstairs.
He winced at the bandages that continued to scratch against his skin and knew he was going to have to change them eventually.
Opening the door quietly he found Shoto almost sound asleep again.
"Sho, I've got your ibuprofen and water. Sit up for me, would you?" Denki asked quietly, he really didn't want to wake up his dads after the night they must've had.
Shoto groaned and after a few seconds he propped himself up against the headboard. "Gimme the thingy so I can take a nap." Shoto complained half heartedly.
Kaminari only laughed and handed Shoto the bottle of medicine and water as he went off to the bathroom to find the first aid kit.
While Kaminari's back was turned, Todoroki took a few more tablets then recommend. And by a few I mean a lot more. Like 4 or 5 more. He wasn't feeling the brightest today, but he figured after a few ibuprofens and maybe a benadryl or antihistamine he'd be fine.
Denki came back with a first aid kit in hand.
"Can you do me a favor and help me wrap up my arms again? They're getting itchy." Denki timidly asked, carefully drying off his arms after just having washed them.
Shoto shook his head to snap himself out of his slight daze and took the first aid kit, offering Denki a spot to sit. Avoiding looking directly at Denki's arms, Shoto carefully started to rewrapped each arm before stopping. Shaking his head and squinting slightly to focus he asked, "Did you want me to put some cream on them?"
Kaminari nodded sheepishly and Shoto stopped wrapping, grabbing one of the many healthy healing creams under the bathroom sink and applied it to Kaminari's arms before continuing to wrap them, this time continuing until he was done.
Kaminari put everything away and looked up at Todoroki, concerned. "Are you ok Sho? You look a little out of it." Kaminari said, trying to place a hand to Shoto's forehead.
Immediately, Shoto dodged out of the way. "No need. I was just thinking. About the Entrance Exams. You know? They're in a week, I've gotta be prepared." Todoroki lied, smoothly.
Denki nodded, not appreciating the obvious lie but he definitely didn't want to invade Shoto's personal space. "Mhm." He mumbled, obviously unconvinced.
"I'll meet you down there for breakfast in a few. I have training after that but I'll definitely eat breakfast with you." Shoto reassured, changing the subject.
"Maybe you should give yourself a break." Kaminari said wearily. "I know Dads don't always see all that you do, or appreciate it to the full extent, but you do a lot and put more pressure on yourself then needed. Maybe take a break for the day? No training, just watching movies with your favorite brother?" Denki suggested.
Shoto rolled his eyes playfully and shook his head. "Denks, as fun as that sounds I really do have to train. Especially if I want to get into UA. I'm no longer in the recommendation category which means I'll have to work twice as hard and I really want to get it. But we can watch movies after the Entrance Exam."
Denki sighed and watched as Shoto stood.
"I'll meet you downstairs for breakfast."
Once Shoto was out the door, Denki screamed into a pillow.
"I love you Sho, I really do, but you get on my goddamn nerves sometimes."

Contrary to what Shoto and Denki thought, Aizawa and Yamada were already in the hospital.
They were here at literally the crack of dawn, and were now drinking their third cup of coffee. Well Aizawa was, Yamada was fully awake after his first half of a cup.
Nala rounded the corner, not at all surprised to see Aizawa there so early. "Eraserhead, visiting hours are officially open. He is officially off sedation but his coma is still there so he could wake up anytime from today to a week from now." She said, walking them to Izuku's door. "I must go and attend to other patients but I'll be back to check up on him later."
Aizawa nodded in understanding and thanks before walking in, leaving Yamada to open the door for himself.
"Uh- ok. Rude." Yamada complained, pushing through the door himself.
Aizawa rolled his eyes and sat on the little couch as he had most of yesterday. Yamada was there seconds after, immediately holding Aizawa's hand. Aizawa's other hand was fiddling with the envelope he had found nervously.
"Come on, what's so wrong with giving him the letter?" Yamada had to admit, he was very curious as to the envelope's contents. Aizawa was the only one who had read the thing and ever since he refused to let anyone else see. It made Yamada beyond befuddled what made Aizawa so nervous about the letter.
The fact that Aizawa wished he hadn't read the letter in the first place seemed to elude Yamada's common sense.
"It's nothing. I would just rather avoid any tangent Izuku may go on to find Shinsou." Aizawa admitted part of what was wrong.
Yamada gave Aizawa a look. "There's no way." He said, laughing slightly. He didn't seem to realize how serious Aizawa was about the situation. "No one would chase after the guy that stabbed them fatally." Yamada said, already ranting onto another completely unrelated topic.
Aizawa frowned. I think you're wrong.
I hope the chapter was at least semi good. It was more of a filler than anything but eh, such brotherly bonding and stuff won't ever hurt.
