I'm not very good when it comes to committing to a book, which is weird because I also can't go a few days without writing again, but I'm really happy that I've actually stuck with this book without losing interest.
And thank you to the several consistent readers (yes chaos_is_my_life_, you are one of them) I see while posting each chapter. And to those of you who are just arriving, thank you for clicking onto my story.
I hope you have a great day/evening/night❤️
(Oh gosh, I was just nice. That was weird. Anyways, let's go)
3rd POV
Izuku woke with a start, gasping for air as if he had just gone hours without it.
Denki was right at his side, telling him to calm down and take a deep breath, but Izuku pushed him away.
"No no wait! Wait! I was telling the truth! I was telling the truth!!"
Denki jumped back at the sudden yelling and went to Shoto. Not that it mattered because Shoto hadn't woken yet, but he still preferred to be by Shoto's side.
"Midoriya, maybe you shouldn't-"
"No no, you don't understand! Y-you don't understand! I'm not lying! I swear! I swear I'm not lying!" Izuku yelled over and over again, pulling at his hair as if he were crazy.
"You aren't lying. I understand, you're telling the truth. But you need to calm down. You're scaring the others and the guards are going to come back here any minute to asses the disturbance." Denki muttered, running a hand through Shoto's hair.
He didn't know if it was doing anything to calm Shoto. Hell, he didn't even know if Shoto was upset or in a riled up state.
But it was calming Denki so he continued.
Izuku collapses to the ground, sitting against the wall as he started muttering.
"I'm not lying- his quirk is supposed to be lie detector! I don't understand! He should know when I'm lying, I wasn't lying!" Izuku continued to mumble to himself as Denki sighed.
It wasn't ideal to try and relax when someone was muttering like a crazy man.
"Excuse me sir?" Denki stopped the guard that was passing by. "I know I asked for this already but Shoto, he really needs a doctor. When do you think he could get one?"
"I'm sorry kid but I don't think he's getting a doctor until he's going through a life or death situation." The guard showed his remorse and bowed slightly before walking away, continuing his usual rotation.
"But he's only getting worse and- ugh! Forget it this is pointless!" Denki kicked at the bars once and moved back to when Shoto was.
How did they not see that Shoto was obviously in need of some help?

Shinsou was brought in next, to the small room with the one way reflective glass.
It was terrifying, but Detective Tsukauchi sat there with a warm smile on his face, attempting to show an open and welcoming environment.
Shinsou honestly didn't know whether to relax into his seat or stay stiff as a board.
"Hello Mr. Shinsou. You already know my name so I'm going to start of slow so you can understand, ok?" Tsukauchi spoke like he was talking to a four year old who couldn't understand. Shinsou nodded and Tsukauchi continued. "What do you remember before being kidnapped?"
Shinsou let out a nervous laugh. "I.. was never kidnapped?" He said slowing, more like he was asking then saying.
"So you don't remember anything?" Tsukauchi asked with an understanding nod.
