I'm gonna be nice and - instead of doing a Yamada, Shoto, Denki chapter like I was planning - will actually get right into it😂

Also I had someone tell me that they almost never get asked how there day was and me asking them just brightened their day. So I want you guys to all know that even if I don't type it out all the time, I hope your day is going amazing (or went amazing) and be safe.

3rd POV

Izuku's eyes widened.

Him? Going to UA? Was that some kind of joke? Not only is he too injured to take the entrance exams in 2 days but he was a vigilante. That's right, the police department finally grew a pair and officially named him a vigilante so now he was a criminal in the eyes of the law.

"You're kidding-"

Aizawa immediately jumped in with incentives. "I swear I'll get you both into my hero course class so you don't have to deal with any biased homeroom teachers. You wouldn't even have to take the physical exam, just the written. I could pass it off as a kind of rehabilitation unit. Come on Izuku, you'd be the best in the class and I don't even have to see your classmates." He practically pleaded.

Shinsou groaned and mumbled something incoherent in Izuku's arms. Aizawa immediately shut up as Izuku's tossed him a glare.

"It's ok Hito, go back to sleep."

And so he did, seconds later Shinsou was out cold once again, still laying on Izuku's left side, head still buried into Izuku's shoulder. The only difference from the position last night is now they're laying down.

Izuku sighed when Shinsou was visibly sleeping again and looked towards Aizawa, groaning inwardly.

"First off, you wake Shinsou one more time and I don't care who you are, you'll be in a coma until you're 70." Aizawa sucked in a breath and discreetly took a step back. "Second, don't call me Izuku. You don't have that right."

Aizawa's eyes widened slightly.. had he accidentally let Izuku slip instead of Midoriya? ...whoops...

"And third. I really appreciate the offer, truly, but UA isn't the place for me. For starters I'm a vigilante. I'm not meant to sit through boring classes all day and honestly I don't think I could if I tried. And.. well I'm sure you've figured out by now but I'm quirkless. No matter what others think I'm quirkless and when it comes to a hero school skill and wit isn't enough to make up for a quirk." Izuku paused before he could continue ranting reasons why he didn't belong at UA and just took a small deep breath. "I would really appreciate it, though, if you did put in a good word for Shinsou so he could be in the hero course."

Aizawa sighed, quickly saying "I'll think about it." and walked out.

—————

Aizawa got home with even more on his mind than he left with. But now was his family's time, as soon as he walked through those doors it was time to worry about his family, not Izuku.

And so he did, opening the door and blocking all thoughts of Izuku from his mind.

As soon as he walked through the awful stench of cleaner erupted through Aizawa's nose.

"Ok, no I didn't need to smell today. That's alright." He mumbled to himself. "Babe?" Aizawa called out.

Yamada was there seconds later, taking Aizawa's bag from him as Aizawa took off his shoes.

"Why are you stress cleaning?" Aizawa asked.

Of course, Yamada was never one that minded cleaning so their house was always in pristine condition but when it smelled utterly like bleach through and through, that's when Yamada was stress cleaning.

"Shoto. He's not getting worse but he's not really getting better. He can't even get out of bed so I had to bring him some yogurt for breakfast but he could barely keep that down without feeling nauseous." Yamada said in practically one breath.

"Is he awake now?" Aizawa asked.

Yamada shook his head. "No, after eating he needed to replenish his energy so he immediately fell back asleep." Yamada mumbled. "And to be honest Denki isn't doing much better than me. Which means I have a mini me helping me clean the house. And we've still got four rooms to go."

"Honey, why don't you just sit down. Shoto will be fine, it's only a fever-"

"It's not the fever I'm worried about Shota!" Yamada shouted, taking a deep breath as he took off his gloves and rested his head in his hands. "It's just.. Shoto can't even stand and yeah, the fever is terrifying. He could barely get down a yogurt before he pushed it away but he wouldn't stop mumbling about training and entrance exams."

"I know you feel bad for the kid Zashi, but entrance exams are literally two days away. There's no way he can make it.." Aizawa said softly.

Yamada groaned. "I know he can't Shota, I just have to find a way he can! Shoto has been working at this his entire life and is dedicated enough to be the best damn hero I've ever seen." Yamada tried to continue explaining as he angrily scrubbed the dishes.

"I could.." Aizawa groaned at what he was about to say. "Since he's going to miss the entrance exams I could always get him into my class without having to do them. I want to start a sort of rehabilitation program for Izuku, and now Shinsou. And yeah Shoto isn't a villain nor is he a vigilante but-"

"Wait, hold up. Have you even run this idea by Nezu first? And Shinsou? Isn't that the guy who stabbed Midoriya?" Yamada continued to question, blinking slowly as he looked at Aizawa.

"Yeah don't say that to him, he'll keep you in a coma till you're 70." Aizawa mumbled.

Aizawa continued taking, "Look, I haven't told Nezu about any of this but Shoto deserves to get in, Izuku would make a great hero, and Shinsou won't leave Izuku's side."

"Just.. just figure something out that is fair to Shoto. He doesn't deserve the whole school labeling him as a vigilante just to get into UA." Yamada mumbled, quieting his voice as Denki walked into the room. "Done cleaning the bedrooms?" Denki nodded. "Perfect, all the bathrooms are next and then we're done."

Aizawa just let them walk off as he got himself a cup of coffee. It was 10 in the morning currently and he had half a day to burn. But before anything, he needed to see Shoto.

So he let the coffee brew as he walked upstairs, cracking the door open so the hallways light flooded into the pitch black room.

Shoto groaned but made no movement.

"Hey Sho, it's me." Aizawa said gently, sitting on the edge of the bed. "I just wanted to make sure you were doing ok."

What Aizawa thought was a sarcastic laugh left Shoto's mouth, but it came out dry and his voice cracked once or twice.

Tears started to lap Shoto's vision as he spoke. "I worked towards getting into UA my whole life. That was supposed to be my fate, destiny. Whatever you wanted to call it." He whispered.

He really was genuinely upset. He may not have ever shown it, and Endeavor may have been the one to decide his path for him, but before that he had wanted nothing more than to get into UA. Nothing more than to become the world's greatest hero. All the work and training and opportunities he had passed up along the way, the sacrifices he endured to ready himself. All of it was useless now.

"Sho, I know this is less than ideal but it's the only option I have for you right now."
