I spoke to myself as I stared out into the crying sky.

I ran my fingers through my hair as soon as I heard the doors of my car clicked open. Wearing a black leather mini dress and booties, I took my black designer bag and climbed out of the car.

We reached the University Hotel of St. Joseph.

I am known for being arrogant, cruel and self-important.

I know what my mother is trying to put on and I'm not happy with it. I'm starting not to like her doings. She has these growing pursuits and interests on pestering my life.

I took a deep breath when Fiona opened the door to the conference room for me.

They were exchanging ideas and opinions until someone called me by my surname.

"Miss Villabrille!" one of the board members who saw me first quickly stood up.

I smirked seeing her flushed face like I caught her doing a crime.

I scanned the dark wood table and stopped when I saw new faces.

Yeah. New faces.

"What's the fuss all about?" I asked and placed my bag on the table and sat to my designated seat at the back. I circled my hands making my bracelets clinked.

"The board is currently having a meeting with Architect Archer Alvarez and his team." one of the board members answered.

I arched my brow and looked at him. "Without me?"

"I'm here, Raniyah. I was with the board when this project was proposed. The board believed that my decision on this matter was same as yours." she said as she played her pen using her fingers.

"Still. You should have informed me about this." I hissed.

"That can be talked at home, sweetie." She smiled at me before her eyes drifted back at him who's standing across from me.

"I'm sorry for the delay, Architect. You can proceed with your presentation."

I tightly shut my eyes. I massaged my forehead. This is giving me more headache more than I thought.
