"yes! fuck, jeonghan! look at this one!" joshua exclaimed, immediately sending mingyu the screenshot of jeon wonwoo's check in time and details regarding his stay at the waikiki beachfront hotel. joshua was a little bit emotional as well. "jeonghan, i'm really happy about this, but what if it's a different jeon wonwoo?"

jeonghan only hugged his husband. "no worries, then it's okay! i'm sure mingyu knows what he's doing, so there's a high chance that wonwoo really might be alive. then seventeen will be back!"

"it's sad that we need to exhume someone just for seventeen to be back again.." joshua muttered, which jeonghan only replied to with a cheek kiss. joshua smiled, before the two got interrupted.

"oppa?" the teenage girl sets foot inside jeonghan and joshua's room, groggily rubbing her eyes. "it's late. you should go to sleep, you're too noisy."

"oh, sorry, kaesun!" jeonghan ruffles kaesun's hair. "go back to sleep. we just finished work and we're just overjoyed."

"you found jeon wonwoo?"

"you're using your ability too much, just go to sleep, honey! felix won't ask you out if you act like a zombie everytime you show up to school. why? 'cause you're always sleep-deprived!reading those clichè stories until morning, jesus—you scare me." joshua shouts as kaesun disappears into the hallway. a faint groan from kaesun answers joshua's little comment, making the couple laugh.

hong kaesun is joshua's younger cousin, left at korea by her parents to study medicine. the two let kaesun stay in their house so joshua could help kaesun with her studies. and also, keep her safe from the dangerous ability users out there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for their prey to come to them.

"i wonder if kaesun is related to soonyoung or minseok," jeonghan admits, plopping on their bed. "i mean, i know she's your cousin, but—god, she's amazing."

"i know. i've never heard such a specific ability: seeing through lies and knowing the truth. wow. like a pov from tiktok." the couple laughed at joshua's remark. jeonghan was just subtly called out for using tiktok too much.

sooner, joshua joined jeonghan on the bed, rolling over to face his lover. "you know what, hannie?"

nothing had changed. jeonghan's heart still flutters upon joshua uttering his stupid (-ly cute) nickname for jeonghan. joshua sees jeonghan blushing every single time he uses that nickname, and it warmed joshua's heart knowing that jeonghan was truly in love with him. "joshuji?"

"it's a good life." joshua smiled and looked down on the love of his life, their noses nuzzling. jeonghan loved eskimo kisses.

"yeah, it is." jeonghan giggled and snuggled closer to joshua, feeling so loved and happy. "i wish the others are happy and well, too."

"i wish all the best for mingyu." joshua adds, to which he felt jeonghan nod from his position in their cuddle session. "i hope wonwoo is really alive."

"if wonwoo is alive, will seventeen get back together?" jeonghan asked.

"highly possible. but i'm contented with this, even if seventeen doesn't get back again."

"goodnight, joshuji. love you."

"goodnight, hannie. i love you too." at that, jeonghan fell asleep in his lover's arms. indeed, it was a good life for them.

mingyu decided to skip sleeping. he went straight to a restaurant, ate breakfast(is eating a full meal at 4:18 a.m considered breakfast?), changed into more comfortable clothes(his sweater will make him die out of heat stroke) and waited in the lounge of waikiki beachfront hotel.
