(a/n: JAJSBSBSJSHJS mingyu and won meet again here but no brute fighting stuff - )

"flight's tomorrow? okay okay, i'll go out today to buy some shit souvenirs." mingyu says, grabbing his notebook and pen. you can never be sure. "anyone else want anything?"

"i want a boyfriend!"

"go ask seungcheol!"

"what the fuck?"

i will not be a part of this boyfriend talk again. mingyu headed out the door with a chuckle, happily leaping outside to find stores that interest him. what could he buy here? keychains? lame.

but if he buys keychains, it would  be extremely cheap and he could give some to his members. nah, fuck them, they have money; but not all of them had money. mingyu contemplated, should he buy keychains or not? what about buying it on a condition? don't give the ones with a black card or something?

mingyu went to the mall instead. perhaps he could find a celebrity and take juicy photos and stories from them? nope, he's not a magazine editor anymore. maybe a cute dog like aji? aji needs a playmate, after all. he bets that aji misses mingyu from korea, so maybe bringing home a new playmate would make up for that.

mingyu was nowhere near a pet adoption store. he was lost in the appliances area. his english skills are quite rusty too, how will he find his way out of here? google translate?

mingyu is confused as heck.

"w systems is trending on all social media platforms. one of the technology company's satellites seems to be falling down, speculated to crash on los angeles. let's check on the current location, live, with peter adams."

mingyu's head snapped to the left, where a tv on display was playing the news. there was a crowd around it, so that means that the news wasn't a playback video, right? it's live.

"satellite?" mingyu pondered off, trying to remember what a satellite looks like. the man was lost in thoughts for a while until the news showed the live footage of a satellite on the sky, falling. there were people running and screaming. "oh, fuck, a satellite satellite! like the one from outer space! i gotta go!"

mingyu disparages his supposed-to-be fun shopping time to save los angeles. the things you do for the world.

"tch." wonwoo scoffed, looking at the people outside the gelato shop. pathetic, as always. "maybe if you had abilities."

wonwoo knew that yi-eun planned to make a mass murder today, but he didn't know that yi-eun pushed through. making your satellite from space completely destroy majority of los angeles? bonkers, but wonwoo was not surprised, though. he is used to this.

"should i order another one?" wonwoo asks himself, looking at the counter to find nobody there. ah, right, everyone, inside the gelato shop he was in, ran away too. he's the only one left inside, enjoying his sweet treats. "i'll be overweight if i eat any more."

wonwoo shrugs, standing up from his seat to go outside. unlike everyone else, he was unfazed and still. as everyone else was in chaos, wonwoo lifts his head to look at the sky—where there was a satellite heading down to the specific street wonwoo was in.

"clear out!"

"it's heading this way!"

"it's getting faster!"

"sir!" a man pulled wonwoo's arm slightly. "escape now, please— agh!" the man gave up on trying to save wonwoo when he noticed that the satellite's speed was increased, and it means that he's going to die immediately.

"people. they always put themselves first. he tried to save me, but he gave up for his life. can't blame him though." wonwoo says, looking around. "oh. looks like everyone had escaped now."

wait.

the satellite is going to affect his favorite gelato store! wonwoo can't let that happen, like, ever. gelatos are the only thing that make the world a little less ugly! they're a gift sent by angels!

no no no. there are other gelato shops. wonwoo tried to convince himself to just walk away and let his favorite shop end up in ruins. ruining yi-eun's plan when you're also on his side? not an option. you will never be able to go home alive. yi-eun's hitmen will have you as their target.

fuck it. wonwoo huffed. gelato, or yi-eun?

once he was sure of what he was going to choose, wonwoo stood on the middle of the empty street. he looked straight at the falling satellite, thinking of an efficient way to stop it. "sorry, yi-eun." wonwoo mutters.

wonwoo aligns his hands together, yet with a three-inch distance. he creates a gravitational force behind the falling satellite, making it stronger as it neared to the street where wonwoo's favorite gelato shop was located.

"fuck." wonwoo's fingers twitched, trying to keep the gravitational force strong. sure, it was helping, but the satellite was heavy. as expected, its speed was rivaling wonwoo's ability. this is wonwoo's main concern. "shit shit shit."

"hey!" wonwoo hears a voice behind him, but he doesn't spare them a glance. can't you see i'm busy saving my favorite gelato store? oh, also the asses of the mundane people.

"hey! wonwoo!" the person walks and stops beside wonwoo, revealing his side profile. wonwoo knew who it was immediately. "can you get me up there? i can stop the satellite!"

wonwoo glared at mingyu. "tch." wonwoo diverted his right hand to another direction. mingyu smiles, as he felt himself raising to the sky. once mingyu was sitting on the satellite, wonwoo removed the gravitational force that pulled mingyu upwards.

as mingyu fished out his marker, he smiled. "wonwoo? doing the right thing? haven't seen that in a while." mingyu's smile widened as he wrote on the satellite, gelato.

wonwoo was surprised when the satellite disappeared, causing him to disable the gravitational forces that he made. it's like he was a little kid, amazed by a cartoon superhero show. wonwoo never knew that mingyu can turn anything into anything just by writing on it. he felt a little guilty for breaking mingyu's fingers.

mingyu is amazing.

"yah! wonwoo! you win!" wonwoo's attention was diverted to mingyu, as he shouted from the skies. he was falling. "i'm going to die! this feels great, though!"

wonwoo watched mingyu spread his arms and legs wide, eyes closed as he fell from the clouds to the ground. wonwoo can't fathom how mingyu enjoyed this. he was dying, yet he can still smile and shout such things! why, though?

wonwoo cleared his throat, making several gravitational forces to make himself levitate, and catch both mingyu PLUS the gelato mid-air. wonwoo can't let that go to waste.

goodbye. i'm going to be kicked out of w systems for defying the president. wonwoo thought, devouring the gelato(which previously was a satellite that threatened to destroy his favorite gelato shop) as he landed on the ground with mingyu safely.

when mingyu was put down, he spoke. "wonwoo... you just saved thousands of lives. mine included." the taller's eyes shined as he looked at wonwoo. "i thought you needed me dead? and a lot of other mundane people? isn't that what your organization's mission is?"

"that was before i tried to stop the satellite from crashing on my favorite gelato shop, and working with you." wonwoo finished his gelato, and crossed his arms. "i'm on the run now. yi-eun is going to kill me for treason."

wonwoo turns, running away. "wo—h—wait!"

wonwoo looked back, and stopped running. "what?"

mingyu's hands formed a fist, mustering up courage to speak. "seventeen is always open for you."

wonwoo nods. "okay." and then he ran away again. he felt like some sort of mysterious hero in movies, and mingyu was fine with it.

is this where things finally take a turn?
