Chapter 4 - Brotherly Issues

Chapter 4:

Ichigo P.O.V:

I woke up to a sleeping Rukia next to me. I smiled because she looked so beautiful while sleeping. I checked the time and it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I sighed as I remembered that we have to go to Byakuya's house soon. I leaned closer to Rukia and whispered wake up. She opened her eyes and a smile formed on her face.

Rukia: Ichigo

Ichigo: Sleep well?

Rukia: I think I did

I leaned down and gave her a peak on the lips

Ichigo: We should get ready because we have to go to Byakuya's house soon. I'll go wake up the kids

As I was about to walk out of the room Rukia grabbed my hand

Ichigo: Rukia is there something wrong? I asked turning to face her

Rukia shook her head

Rukia: Nothing is wrong its just thank you for everything

I smiled at her response and kissed her forehead

Ichigo: Your welcome for everything

We all got ready and headed for Bykuya's house on the way there. I was still wondering what could he possibly want. I'll find out soon enough. We got there and I knocked on the door Kazui hid behind me and grabbed my robe.

Ichigo: Kazui you know there's nothing to be scared of

Byakuya: Kurosaki, Rukia, Ichika thank you for coming today

Rukia: Our pleasure Ni-sama

Ichika: Uncle Byakuya. Ichika exclaimed while running towards him to hug him

Byakuya: I'm guessing that your son behind you right

Kazui: Hi Uncle Byakuya. Said said in a scared voice

Byakuya: Why don't you come out from over there?

Kazui held on Ichigo tighter

Ichigo: Sorry Byakuya but Kazui is a but scared of you

Byakuya was not surprised at all by this. He walked over and patted Kazui's head

Byakuya: Don't worry i'm not going to hurt you, anyways can you guys please have a seat?

They sat down and a waiter brought us some tea

Byakuya: I'm guessing you are curious as to you why I have called you here today

We all nodded our heads

Byakuya: Well then I will start off by asking Rukia a question

Rukia: Hai Ni-sama

Byakuya: Are you alright with having Ichigo as your husband and having Kazui as your son?

We all looked at Rukia waiting for an answer after a few seconds of silence she said

Rukia: I am

Byakuya: Are you sure?

Rukia nodded

Rukia: Ichigo and I love each other dearly so I am prepared to spend the rest of my life with and as for Kazui I will take him in as my son.

I smiled at her answer. I knew how she felt but it felt good hearing it out loud. I looked over to Kazui also looked happy at the fact that Rukia will accept him as her son. Byakuya took another sip of his tea.

Byakuya: Very well then. I do admit I don't like Kurosaki that much but I want Rukia to be happy therefore I will tolerate this but Kurosaki you better keep her happy or else. He said in a menacing cold tone

Ichigo: Yeah yeah I understand

Byakuya: Very well then you are free to leave and don't be afraid to come to me when you need help

With that we left his house. I let out a huge sigh of relief considering he didn't try to kill me

Ichigo: That went better than I expected

Rukia: It's not like Ni-sama was intending to kill you or anything

They all started laughing

Ichigo: Thank you

Rukia: Huh for what. Rukia said while turning her head towards me

Ichigo: For excepting Kazui as your son

Rukia: No need to thank me because I know that you also accepted Ichika as your daughter

Kazui: So now Rukia will me my mommy

Ichika: And Ichigo will my daddy

Ichigo, Rukia: Yeah

They proceeded to walk home hand in hand staring at the sunset
