Chapter 27 - Discussion(Second Ending)

Ichigo P.O.V:

Soya: You might think that you're safe for now but everything will be taken away from you and it will all done by your own hand *laughs*

I woke up with a jump and realized that was all just a dream. Dammit I hate nightmares and his words are just so piercing could this all just stop?

Rukia: Ichigo?

Ichigo: Oh Rukia good morning. I said trying to stay calm

Rukia: You look like you've seen a ghost. Let me guess bad dream?

Ichigo: Yeah. I whispered

Rukia then laid her head on my shoulder

Rukia: Do you mind talking about it?

Ichigo: It was him

We stayed in silence for a bit. I could tell me being in the current state I am was troubling Rukia and I didn't want that

Soon the door opened revealing Kazui and Ichika and they immediately ran towards us, tacking us

Rukia: Did you kids sleep well? She asked smiling

Ichika: Yeah I slept well

Ichigo: What's with the look Kazui? I asked after Kazui was giving me a weird look

Kazui: Nothing it's just.. I'm getting used to how you look

Ichigo: Same here buddy

Kazui: Plus daddy what happened that made your hair all weird?

I was anticipating a question like that from Kazui. He always had a keen sense of curiosity. Reminds me when I was a kid

Honestly I didn't want to answer that question because he is too young to understand but he does deserve the right to know

Ichigo: I'll tell you another time

We exited the room and made our way downstairs to find Toshiro has arrived as soon as he looked at me his eyes went wide

Toshiro: Wait is that you Kurosaki??!!!

Kurosaki: Yeah sup. I said trying to smile

Toshiro: Wait what happened to you?

Byakuya: That will all be explained when we discuss the important things we have to discuss later

After breakfast Byakuya took me, Rukia and Toshiro to a secret room that I have never seen before

Ichigo: I don't think I've seen this room before. I mumbled

Rukia: This room is only used when the other nobel clans came here for discussions

It was a big room with a round table and chairs surrounded it

We all sat down in our chairs

Byakuya: I wanted to call you guys here to discuss some very important

Toshiro: Like what? He asked coldly

Byakuya: Current events. Toshiro I know you don't know what happened to Ichigo so I'll give a brief summary of what happened

Byakuya explained what happened when they went to go save me. I was glad that I wasn't the one doing the explaining because it was painful to talk about

Toshiro: Honestly that bastard. You really went through hell huh Kurosaki

Ichigo: That's one way to put it

Byakuya: Anyways Toshiro anything happened while we were gone

Toshiro: Oh yeah when you were gone I was investigating the circumstances behind Soya's escape. I considered the possibility of it being an inside job but I didn't have any evidence as to why. Until I stumbled upon the records of Tsunayashiro Tokinada

Byakuya: I've heard of his clan before but by my account he should be dead shouldn't he?

Toshiro: That's what I thought too but I just have a suspicion he is still alive

Ichigo: What do you mean?

Toshiro: Going through his history he too resented Soul Society for being built on lies so he took action. Killing many while also covering his tracks

Ichigo: I wonder what drove him to do that

Toshiro: He wanted to tell everyone the lies Soul Society has been telling them but according to those records he did die but the circumstances around his death seem unusual

Rukia: But that's all speculation plus there is no evidence to support that

Toshiro: You're not wrong Kuchiki but regardless I'm not saying he was the one who did it but we should all be alert

Ichigo: Honestly just how much stuff is Soul Society is hiding from us. I said sick and tired of how these lies always got me involved

Byakuya: You have no idea. Anyways Toshiro good job on gathering intel. Also Kurosaki how are you feeling?

Ichigo: Fine

Narrator P.O.V:

Karin: What could they be talking about. I whispered while my ear was against the door

Hisana: It's probably very important

Karin: I know it is but I hate being in the dark

Kazui: I want to know too. I don't like it when daddy and mommy hide's things from us

Ichika: Same here

Karin: Ssshhh

Karin listened carefully and it seemed like they were talking about Soul Society and something about I don't know

Kazui: No Aunt Karin you have to press against the door harder like this let me try

Ichika: Kazui your doing it wrong you also have to push with your hands so the vibrations are clearer

Hisana: Umm you guys

It didn't take long for the door to have enough of their pushing

Which is why the door fell down along with Ichika, Kazui and Karin

Everyone in the room was startled by the noise. Hisana was just left their standing awkwardly

Hisana: Oh Byakuya-sama I uh-

Ichigo: What were you guys doing!! He yelled getting up from his chair

Karin: Oh Ichi-nii uh look--

Rukia: Didn't we tell you not to disturb us?

Toshiro: Honestly Karin you got to learn that you can't know everything

Kazui: But daddy what were you guys talking about?

Ichigo: I told you I can't tell you. He said while picking him up

Kazui: That's not fair. He pouted

Byakuya: Anyways Kurosaki you know what to do right

Ichigo: Yeah I do
