Chapter 18 - Brother vs Lover

Chapter 18

Ichigo P.O.V:

Today started out as any normal day except for the fact that I had so much paperwork to do. Paperwork is so boring. I thought being a captain would mean I would get to fight strong people but apparently not. Also I heard Toshiro was off today and going to the world of the living and with my suspicions I knew I had to follow him. When I finally finished my paperwork I heard a knock on the door. I wonder who it is

Ichigo: Come in

The door opened revealing Kazui, Ichika and Rukia

Ichika and Kazui ran towards me and I kneeled down to give them a hug

Ichigo: Did you guys miss me?

Kazui Ichika: Uh huh!!

Ichigo: Did mommy miss me too? I asked teasingly

Rukia chuckled and walked over to us

Rukia: I think you already know the answer to that. She said while leaning down to give me a kiss.

I pulled back and stood up

Ichika: Comon daddy let's go home!

Ichigo: Yeah well I would love to but I kinda have an errand to run but I promise I'll be home before dinner okay. I said smiling and scratching the back of my head

Rukia: What kind of errand? She asked while tilting her head

Ichigo: Nothing really but Kazui do you want to come along?

Kazui: Yes I would love to! He said while jumping with joy at the fact he can spend some time with me

Ichigo: Alright then I'll see you later love you

Rukia: Love you too

I was holding Kazui's hand and we were walking towards the portal

Kazui: Daddy where are were going?

Ichigo: Well me and you are going on a stakeout

Kazui: A stakeout that sounds so much fun! He said with his eyes gleaming with joy

Ichigo: You bet and I even brought snacks

We proceeded to follow Toshiro. Close enough so we can see him and far enough to where we would not suspect that he was being followed. We also hid our presence by concealing our reatsu.

Kazui: What is Toshiro-san doing? He said while eating a pocky

Ichigo: I don't know but I bet if we follow him we will find out

We proceeded to follow him but I realized he was heading somewhere familiar

Kazui: Isn't this the way to Grandpa's house? He asked still eating Pocky

Ichigo: Yeah your right it is also wipe your mouth it's covered in crumbs. I said in between bites

Kazui: He's on the move again let's go

Ichigo: Yeah follow me

We followed him until he seemed to have arrived at his destination which was an empty park. What is he doing here I thought

Then we saw why he came when Karin showed up and hugged Toshiro. Seeing Karin being hugged by another man pissed me off. I don't know why but it just did

Kazui: What is aunt Karin doing here?

Ichigo: I don't know let's find out

Narrator P.O.V:

Toshiro was glad to see Karin. Since he lived in Soul Society as a Captain it was very hard for him to go see Karin.

Karin: How are you Toshiro? Karin asked cheerfully
