50 years later

Narrator P.O.V:

50 years have passed and the age of peace still remained. Ichika and Kazui have grown into young teens and Karin and Toshiro were still happily married. During that time Ishin was able to convince the Gotei 13 to let him live with Soul Society along with Yuzu. They would all visit each other pretty often and usually ended with Ishin asking them when he's going to get grandkids because Karin and Toshiro haven't had a child yet since they didn't feel like it was the right time yet.

Today was pretty much like any normal day except Rukia and Ichika have been assigned a 2 day mission in Hueco Mundo to make sure everything is going fine over there. After a long day they all got home and they all sat on the couch in silence until

Ichigo P.O.V:

We are sitting on the couch relaxing after having such a long day until

Rukia: Ichigo Kazui I need to tell you guys something

Ichigo: What is it Rukia?

Kazui: Yeah what is it?

Rukia: Well me and Ichika have been assigned a 2 day mission in Hueco Mundo and we have to leave tomorrow morning

I let what Rukia said sink in. It wasn't often that either would get assigned a mission but when we did we would always miss each other a lot.

Ichigo: Now that I think about it it's been a while since any of us have been assigned on a mission. I said forcing a smile to try to lighten the mood

Kazui: Why couldn't I get a mission? It's boring doing paperwork all day and I wanna fight some hollows too. Kazui pouted

Ichika: Honestly you and dad are so alike. The fact that were not being assigned on missions is a good thing because that means there is peace. Do you really want to live a era where fighting hollows everyday and risking your life is a constant norm?

Kazui: I wouldn't mind that. He replied while putting his hand behind his head

Ichika: *sigh* Honestly your something else Kazui I'm going to sleep

Kazui: Hey I'm going to sleep too goodnight mom and dad. He said while walking upstairs to his room

Ichigo: We should probably go to bed too since you have to get up early in the morning

Rukia: Yeah we should

We headed towards our room and got ready for bed. Shortly after we both layed down on the bed and looked into eachothers eyes

Ichigo: Rukia please promise me that you'll be safe. I said while grabbing Rukia's hand

Rukia: I will but you don't have to worry about me so much ya know. She replied

Ichigo: How could I not worry about you. I know your just teasing me since I know you'll do the same thing. I said smiling

Rukia laughed at my response

Rukia: But still Ichika is not a little girl anymore. She defend for herself so at least don't worry too much about her. She said almost whispering

Ichigo: But to me she will always be my little girl

Rukia: Well then it's getting late goodnight. She whispered before giving me a quick kiss

Ichigo: Good night. I whispered back while pulling her close

We fell asleep in eachothers arms. Knowing I won't see her tomorrow morning
