Ezron.

Where is she?I am waiting here for past 15 minutes.I had already sent Robert 1 hour earlier to pick her.She should be here by now.

"How much time before she is here?" Amanda asked beside me glancing at the door of the roof top place she booked.

I shook my head negative and she frowned before going back to check all the arrangements.

This morning I got a call from her and she dropped the bomb about having a surprise birthday party for Lia.I didn't even fucking knew it was her birthday today.Why didn't she tell me about this earlier?

Because you never asked.

She could have atleast told me today.Amanda asked a favour to get Lia here somehow and I ofcourse agreed to it. Nothing is better than watching her happy face. Everyone Lia close to is invited here today. Some of her school mates and also Mason. The idiot invited himself here.

"Hey dude, I was searching for you all over the place"Speak of the fucker and he shall appear.

He stood beside me gazing at the city ahead of us. It was a good sight from here. Amanda has done pretty good arrangement for the party. I had asked Stacy to help Amanda with it.

"What is it?"I ask turning sideways.

"I was just curious,what gift did you get for your wife?" There was a sly grin on his face as he wiggled his eyebrows. Damn, I know what he is thinking.

"Put your head out of the gutter and what I buy her is none of your business" He puts his hands in surrender with a chuckle and we go back to viewing the sight.

Ofcourse I had to get a god damn gift.The last time I chose and gave gift to someone was Lucas. I always ask Stacy to deliver the gifts incase if there is any such events. But today I bought a gift myself, obviously with the help of Stacy because I don't know shit about what women like. To buy a gift for your wife is twice difficult then closing a billion dollars deal. By the time we settled on one thing,I was frustrated. But now I am waiting for her eagerly.

I glanced at my watch again.What's taking her so long. Pulling out my phone I called her but her phone seems to be switched off. Who the fuck does not keep their phone charged?I then tried Robert.

He picked up on the second ring.
"Hello Sir"
"Where are you?"I ask straight.
"I am in the parking lot of the hotel"
"Is Lia with you?"Finally they arrived I guess.
"No Sir.She entered the hotel 20 minutes ago." What the fuck?
"She is not here yet Robert" I frown at the unfolding scenario.
"But-" I quickly hung up and turn towards Mason.
"You handle here,I have to go" He nodded confusingly and opened his mouth to ask something but I quickly dash out of the door and took the turn towards elevator.Where the hell is she?It wouldn't take so much time to come up here.

I press the elevator button but it doesn't seems to work. As the indicator was blank. Shit is it not working?The other elevator is across the hall on the other side.Did she take the stairs?

I quickly dash towards the staircase beside the elevator and climb down.I swear if her clumsy self is down again,she has to be ready to hear a mouthful from me.

As I reached down a bit furthe,the commotion beside the staircase took my attention.There were some people beside the elevator and two in crouched position.I recognised the manager who met me at the entrance.He might know about Lia's whereabouts.

I walked at her.
"...sorry but-"I cut her off
"What is happening here?"The manager abruptly turns arounds and straightened her self when she faced me but that's not what brought the shock expression on my face.The painful shout from the other side of the elevator.My feets froze on the ground.I slowly turn around and took a strengthening step forward.The shout is familiar.I can recognize her voice in a crowd of thousands.
