Flashback

"I don't understand, what are we doing?" Byulyi asked Krystal who only dragged her down the sidewalk of their hometown, passing by cafes, shops, and restaurants with the bright, shining sun raining down on them. Somehow, today felt peaceful, and Byulyi had that gut that today would be one of those good days before the bad ones come back.

The girl continuously nearly kept on stumbling from being dragged by Krystal, with Byulyi only watching her light brown hair fly backwards in the breeze as they strove passed people, nearly colliding with some.

"Sangdong Lake!" Krystal exclaimed loudly, breathless and still running forwards with her hand having a tight grip on Byulyi's arm. "Come on, it'll be a great way to relieve ourselves from school. Plus, it's almost the end of our first year of university."

"I'm not ready for another year of university," Byulyi grumbled, slowing their paces down as she arrived by Krystal's side, her warmth caressing onto her skin. Their arms were linked together as they walked down the sidewalk more calmly and peacefully to regain some energy. "I'm not ready to be anything at all. I'm not prepared for life!"

A laugh rang out from Krystal, a decisive look was on her face as both of their gazes met, with Byulyi staring into her chocolate eyes before bursting out laughing.

"Just follow your heart, Byul-ah," Krystal whispered lightly in the girl's ear which sent chills everywhere along her body. The breeze caused Krystal's thin floral crop to graze against her skin in the humid atmosphere. "Don't forget that, okay? You're perfect~"

Feeling flustered, Byulyi gulped down a lump in her throat as the heat increased in mer cheeks from the compliment. Did Krystal really think that about her? Being perfect? She knew for a fact that she wasn't, but she could feel the confidence boost inside her body. She felt oblivious to her words, overwhelmed in an instant. No person has made her feel that way ever in her life.

"Y-You think so?" Byulyi stammered and scratched the back of her neck to ease herself.

"Of course!" Krystal exclaimed with that beautiful smile on her face once again. Byulyi's eyes wandered her; knowing how in the world she could keep such a positive mindset all the time and just stay happy without any care.

Though, Byulyi has seen Krystal's dark side several times, but she would usually get over it in a day. How was she like that? It was the complete opposite for Byulyi considering how close-minded she is and how she tends to shove all those thoughts to the back of her head until she exploded.

Feelings are confusing.

"I want to be an actress," Krystal admitted, a certain glisten in her eye. "Do you think I would be good in that field?"

Byulyi gave her a wide smile, lips twisting into an awkward shape. "You'd probably become famous, worldwide, well-known, and all those things."
