Do you want the truth?
I'm not okay,
I've never been okay.
I've hated the way the atoms in my body
make me who I am,
I've hated the way I love someone
who never sees me in that way,
I've hated the way I see people come and go,
and I've hated the way I can see you far away,
knowing you're the only thing
that makes me okay.⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚:⠀ *⋆.*:・゚ .: ⋆*・゚: .⋆ ☼
Sparks.
Byulyi could see the sparks in her eyes; the shimmering effect in the dark tones of the older girl's black pupils. She thought it might have been caused from the awkward lighting in the room, but the more she stared at it, the more she could feel her mentality slowly dragging herself more towards Yongsun. It was like they didn't need to words to figure out each other, only their eyes spoke something they could understand. The only thing Byulyi couldn't figure out is why the girl was here in the first place.
Yongsun keeps her head low as she crept her way towards the chair that stood next to Byulyi's bed. Byulyi could only watch the older girl with intense eyes, watching her place herself steadily in the chair with her head and neck hanging low towards the ground, leaving eye contact with the silver-haired girl.
She can only hide her face away in guilt, the immediate regret of her leaving Byulyi quickly sinking in her system. It made her even more guilty to see her in her current condition that she wasn't able to keep straight eye contact with her, like a painful laser directed to her eyes. There were so many things she wanted to say, but Seulgi's words keep repeating in her head that she was there to listen to Byulyi and to keep her talking to a minimum.
But fighting the urge to not talk was a challenge within a challenge of itself.
"Why aren't you speaking?" Byulyi's voice catches Yongsun's attention immediately. The older girl picks her head up to meet yet again another round of intense eye contact, like a magnet attracting their consciousness towards each other.
Shrugging lightly, Yongsun states, "I-I don't know. I guess I'm just as speechless as you are."
Byulyi frowns slightly, head cocking to the side to get a better angle of her. She studies Yongsun's features carefully, pinpointing the exhausted look on her face with her eyelids fluttering ever so lightly.
"Are you tired?"
Yongsun grimly smiles to the question, as if it'll help settle the weird tension around the both of them. Somehow, it does though.
"I feel like I can pass out at any second but," She pauses, watching Byulyi face away from her. "I don't want to do that."
Byulyi couldn't tell whether it was a blush at her cheeks or if her temperature was soaring high due to some inbound and unexpected fever. It was more than likely the blush, leading her own hand to cup one of her cheeks to feel the heat. She already knew Yongsun noticed her... insecurities, the flaws, the results of her spiraling out of control, so there was no point in hiding them now. In fact, Yongsun's held a flickering gaze between Byulyi's arms and her face, feeling something inside of her sink.
