I'm walking towards Jacob's car when I see Corbyn raising his eyebrows at me.

"What the hell are you wearing?" he asks me and my eyes dart down to my dress. It's a nude dress that ends just above my knees. It's cute and comfortable. What is his problem?

"We are going to a fucking party," he says in an annoyed tone "Not church,"

I know we're going to a party but I'm not going to put on some tiny sexy dress that shows every single part of my body. So, I just roll my eyes at him and get in the car.

I feel his eyes on me as I move but I don't turn to look at him.

When I get out of the car, I stop in my tracks. The house is huge and the front yard is bustled with people. I don't dare to think about how packed the mansion will be.

Jacob and Corbyn start walking and I feel a hand on my back.

"Come on," Noah murmurs sweetly and only then do I realize that I've been standing like a statue outside the car.

The yard is so crowded. I gaze at people walking, talking, kissing and playing games. I watch as Jacob and Corbyn greet other boys. They shake hands, give fives, and small talk. I wonder how many people they know because until we reach the front door, they have at least talk to twenty persons. Maybe they're famous.

Finally, we get through the door and when I do, I take a deep breath as I remember that this is my first party without Clary or Eliza. Right now they all must be at Shawn's party. Good luck, girl, I whisper to myself wishing that Samantha will take the chance she has been waiting for with Alex.

I hit someone's back and I pull back flinching. He turns around and of course, it's Corbyn.

"Watch it," he snaps coldly and I roll my eyes at him. He's so maddening. Would it hurt him to be decent for once?

"If you roll your eyes at me again, I swear to God I will..." he starts threatening me but he's caught off by a blonde girl. She throws her arms around his neck and pulls his head to hers as she brushes her lips in his. My eyes widen in shock. What is she doing? Is she his girlfriend?

A hundred questions pop into my head as he pushes her mouth to open with his tongue and once she does, his tongue posses her mouth. Something that makes her groan in his mouth and hug him tighter. Why am I watching this? I feel nauseous at the sight of them and I try to take my eyes off of them but Jacob saves the day.

"Okay, okay," he murmurs as he grabs Corbyn's arm pulling him away from her. Once their kiss break, he smirks at her. "See yah," he says earning one sexy grin from her.

"We have to go," Jacob tells her and pushes Corbyn to move ahead. We head to the living room if I'm not mistaken since this is my first time here. There are three living rooms with bez couches and crystal mirrors and lamps that literally glow. I see marmoreal stairs that lead upstairs crowded by teenagers that make out and red cups full of alcohol.

Suddenly, I feel one arm push me and I nearly fall but two arms keep me steady.

"Are you alright?" I hear the known voice from behind. I nod and smile at Noah like I'm thanking him.

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it," he comforts me but I don't understand. He looks at something in the front and moves his chin towards its direction. I turn and freeze.

A brown girl this time is making out with Corbyn and I stare as their lips connect and he begins leaving small kisses in her jawline and lower.

I feel disgusted but I find my eyes follow his lips and watch carefully at their move. He continues his beautiful assault and then he shoots his eyes to mine. I look at his clear eyes and try to figure out what emotion is hiding in them. Before I can investigate that, I stop myself and shake my head. What am I doing? I stand there like some hormonal teenage girl and stalk him kissing girls? I'm pathetic.

I start walking until I feel a hand touch mine; I turn around and see Noah.

"Come with me. Can I?" he questions gazing at our hands and I nod smiley. I don't want to get lost in this huge place and Noah is my best option. He starts weaseling between sweaty bodies that dance and drink but stops when he hears somebody calling his name. Once he gazes at the person, something weird happens. Noah tightens his grip around me and drags me behind him. I notice his jaw tensing, his body hardens and his eyes charge with anger and what...fear?

"Hey man!" the boy shouts and greets Noah. He's taller than Noah, like Corbyn and his whole body is covered in tattoos, his hands, arms, neck. He has three piercings on his face, one on his bottom hip and two in his right eyebrow and so many in his ears. He has curly brown hair and his eyes seem charged with hunger and rage.

I suddenly get a bad feeling about him. It isn't his appearance but something else. I can't wrap my finger around it but I feel intimidated and afraid by the way his eyes glow. I should definitely stay away from this guy. He looks at him and then his look turns to me and a smile covers his face.

"Edward," he states as he gives me his hand to shake. Not wanting to be rude, I swallow my urge to run away and I try to free my hand out of Noah's tight grip but he doesn't let me go. Edward sees it and from the way his lips press, I get that he didn't like it. I stare at Noah but his eyes are too focused on Edward.

"You don't want me to meet your lovely friend?" he asks and I feel my heartbeat get faster at his tone.

"It's not like that," Noah answers.

"Is she your girlfriend?"

"No," Noah snaps.

"I see..." he whispers and scans my body with his hungry eyes..

I don't like this at all. When Corbyn did the same, shamelessly, I felt embarrassed but now I feel exposed and dirty even though my dress covers my body. I tug at Noah's shirt, a sign to get out of here, and thankfully he understands quickly.

"Excuse us," he mumbles and walks away with me.

We manage to get through drunk people and reach the back yard. The garden is full of adolescents as well but what catches my attention isn't the crowd or the pool. Flowers are surrounding the yard and lights are covering the sky like stars. It's wonderful.

Noah finds a quiet place, he stops and turns to me.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry about that, it's just...he's bad news and I want nothing to do with him. He has done some terrible stuff in the past and he...he 's...I..." he says but I stop him by taking his hand and caress it lightly. His eyes shoot to my fingers and then back to my eyes. He seems surprised by my gesture but when I start to doubt it, a grin slowly forms on his lips.

"Okay," he says blushing and I giggle "Let's go meet my friends,"
