Since yesterday that grin hasn't left my face. I haven't stopped thinking about him or the almost kiss he shared with me. I felt so vulnerable yet wanted inside his embrace. I haven't halt reliving those seconds; they way this electricity and warmth were crushing into me as those new emotions I hadn't felt before were flooding in my veins. I never thought that he had such a huge effect on me; it terrifies me a little but his effect on me got me smiling and I decided to stop overthinking it.

I'm walking towards math and I have to admit I feel a bit nervous to see him again after what happened. What almost happened, to be precise.

When I enter the class I don't see him seated in his usual seat in the back. My smile fades slightly as I make my way to my seat. After a few minutes, the class fills and Corbyn enters after Mr. Lance who shoots him a glare which he didn't even care to notice. He moves to the back without even a glance towards my direction. I frown and start to feel awkward. The lesson begins but it's difficult to concentrate when I know he avoids me.

"Come on guys!" Mr. Lance shouts bringing back to reality.

"I have warned you before. Stop talking."

"Sorry, won't happen again," A blonde girl murmurs.

"This is what you said the last time. Everyone, please stand up." He announces. "I'll switch you to places where I know you won't be talking to nobody. Now, get up," Everyone stands up except. I can sense his annoyance; something doesn't feel right. He seems skeptical and in a bad move. I can't help but think what can have possibly have happened since yesterday.

"Ell in the front, Jamie here, Alex in the side," Mr. Lance continues giving instructions and I wait until I hear my name.

"Amelia, in the back," I head to the free chair but he stops me before I can sit. "No, sit next to Corbyn," I do as I'm told and sit beside him. I seriously do not know how I feel about this. I would be happy to have him so close to me and have the opportunity to look at him anytime but since he's avoiding me, I feel uncomfortable.

I turn slowly to his direction and I see him passing his hand thorough his tousled hair. A scowl has troubled his eyebrows. He's annoyed that I sat next to him?

"Uhm, excuse me?" I hear a voice say.

"Yes?" Mr. Lance says waiting for her to speak. Her blonde hair is long and shinny; her lips are pink and her elegant figure has been hugged gracefully by a short dress. She seems oddly familiar, I feel like I know her for somewhere but I can't remember from where.

"Well, I need to sit in the back, where Amelie sits," She states pointing at me. I frown at her words.

"And why is what?"

"My eyes," She explains and my frown deepens. If she has a problem with her eyes, she would suppose to sit in the front; something definitely doesn't add up.

"Okay, sit next to her," Mr. Lance instructs casually dismissing her as he turns back to his files.

"No! I want to sit in her chair!" She shouts and Mr. Lance is gaping at her. I turn to Corbyn and find him staring at me. His eyes are charged with rage I've never seen before. I get lost in his stare once again as I'm trying to figure out what is going with him today; and my only way to do that is his eyes. It's the only way I can understand what he's feeling, which he's terrible at expressing.

"Whatever Dakota just sit, please," She walks to me and raises her eyebrow.

"Move," She orders and the dominant tone in her voice gets under my skin. I sit in the next seat on my right, having her chair between me and Corbyn.
