A/N I'll try to post another chapter this week. I tried to write today but I feel like I'm coming down with seasonal flu.

The session with psychologist went better than expected. Chandhini didn't know the reason. As usual she wasn't ready to talk about her and Advay's relationship to a stranger but she could talk about the baby as well as her fears of never becoming a mother.

However, she could discuss about Advay with ayi. So, the deep sense of isolation and loneliness which she used to feel wasn't there anymore. Nor the fear of rejection from her family.

By the time, they arrived back at home, both Arnav and Shekha were already home. They had lunch together and then, Chandhini went upstairs to her room.

She had just entered her room when Shekha knocked on open door and walked into the room. She was here to ask about her condition.

Chandhini smiled as she sat on one side of sofa and Shekha on the other. ' nothing to worry. I'm well. Just had a counselling session too. I feel optimistic now.'

Shekha,' that's good. No one told us last night or I and Veer would have come to see you yesterday.'

Chandhini,' it's alright. To be honest I wasn't in a condition to meet anyone. It was just unexpected. Advay was upset too. Ayi and baba were obviously trying to give us space and it would've needlessly worried you two.'

Shekha frowned. From Chandhini's words it didn't seem like she was talking about a minor fall to the ground. What was she missing?

Chandhini,' where is Kavya? Does she has any late classes today? '

Shekha,' no. She is with her grand mother. She was insisting on not going to school today. I took her out for shopping and then, dropped her at mom's place. I'm becoming worried for her.'

Chandhini leaned toward her and held her hand,' that's normal. I was similar. In fact she is quite mature,I used to throw tantrums until I went to boarding.'

Shekha,' oh no. My Kavya is not going to any boarding school. I guess she will out grow these habits.' She couldn't even think about separating her only child from her.

Chandhini,' of course. Time is best teacher.' But she really hoped that Kavya's lesson will be learnt at her parent's place rather than from her husband or in laws.

Shekha,' Actually it's her father who is the real crybaby. He doesn't understand that Kavya is a child. She needs to play and enjoy life. After she grew then it will be studies and other issues one after another. This is her golden period of her life.'

Chandhini nodded. Veer was quite unreasonable but then it was a private matter. She decided to stay quiet and not fan the flames.

Shekha continued speaking,'I'm struggling to deal with him. He refuse to see my point of view while I have always listened to his but this is my child. I won't compromise.'

And therein lay the crux of the problem, thought Chandhini. For her child, Shekha won't listen to anyone.

........

They were still sitting and talking when a servant came looking for Shekha. Arnav was calling Shekha into his room. Shekha left with the servant. Chandhini picked her phone thinking to call a colleague about work update, when she got a call from Megha di. She must have got the news. She received the call and started to calm down Megha's worries.

.........

After the brunch, Veer went back to his workplace and Advay decided to drop in at office and check how everything was going. The quick check turned into long hours as he went through the details of few projects. When he saw the time, he quickly finished the pending tasks and left the office to go home. He wondered how did Chandhini's session go with the psychologist. After parking the car, he went inside. The table for dinner was set but no one had come down yet.

He went to their room. The room door was open and she was lying on bed with an arm covering her eyes. He entered the room and gently closed the door.

Chandhini moved her arm away and sat up on bed at seeing Advay.

'Did I disturb you?' He asked as he walked toward the bed. His eyes were carefully observing her face expressions.

Chandhini shook her head,' no. I was already awake.' She absently moved her fingers through her open hairs which had become entangled and started gathering them into a bun.

Advay stopped near the bed as he stared at her. He wanted to approach the miscarriage topic but at the same time he was worried about her reaction. She had been normal yesterday and then, after hearing the news... he sighed and decided to say nothing. This was a triggering point for her.

'How was your day?the session?' He instead asked as he started to take off his jacket. In past or at least in recent past, he had gotten used to her helping him with these tasks but today even though she saw him taking off his jacket but she didn't got up to help him. And somehow he couldn't ask.

Chandhini finished tidying her hairs and got off the bed. Advay was distracted for a moment. She was wearing a rose pink skirt with a light caramel coloured shirt. The material was crease free and followed her body. The bun didn't suit the dress or her face. In past he would've reached forward and opened the bun but today he didn't dare do it. 'It was okay.'

Advay nodded. The silence in the room stretched.

Chandhini felt nervous as she thought about yesterday night. She wanted to ask what did baba said to him. Did the two quarrel? But now that he was in front of her, she felt that she wasn't ready for this conversation. She knew that how important his every word was to her and she was worried about him blaming her again. 'I'm going down for dinner. You coming?' She asked to break the silence.

Advay thought about Arnav and his words and said,' no. You go.'

Chandhini nodded. She picked her mobile from bed side table and started to leave the room. Her eyes were on mobile.

Advay watched her leave and then started to call the cook to order soup but there was a knock on room door and a servant came with the message that Arnav was calling him in his room. Frowning he left for baba's room.
