Sitting in front of the fireplace with your arms on your chest and pouting like a kid, you looked at your boyfriend, Zora. You kept on asking him if you could go with him on his first mission with the Black Bulls since last night but his answer is still no. Where's the fun in that?! You mean, you could finally see him in action! And then you can be a help too!
You rather want to go than to be locked up inside this little house of yours.
"You'll be just a burden."
"Ha?!"
The nerve of this man! Zora laughed at your reaction before he started wearing his robe. You rolled your eyes before storming inside your room, locking it up. You heard him shouting, "Goodbye!" before totally closing the main door behind him. From the window, you can see him walking casually with both hands stuck in his pocket.
You smirked. Burden? Ha! I don't care what you say, Ideale. No one can stop me.
Wearing your cloak, you started fixing yourself. You'll definitely follow him. Why does he need to keep insisting that joining him in the mission will be dangerous? Loving him is dangerous itself but did you stop? No! You swore you'd be down forever for him. It doesn't feel wrong anyway.
Some people kept on saying that you should look for better, especially when you're a noble but you already decided that you don't want other people to control your life. Your family tried setting you up with some strangers but at the end of the day, you'll find yourself looking for Zora. It's always him.
Jumping out of the window, you started concealing your energy. By sprinting, you immediately reached their hideout, earlier than Zora. Smirking, you finally wore your cloak off before entering the old-looking building and everyone inside grew their eyes bigger. You knew this place a long time ago because this isn't the first time you sneaked into this area.
"Who are you?!"
"Want to fight?"
"Are you here for my foods, la?"
"A pretty woman is lost!"
You chuckled before bowing your head. You were carefree and you made sure to put up a good image to others. You're not an enemy anyway.
"Hi! I'm Y/N L/N!"
The confusion was painted on their faces as you looked up to them.
"And I'm Zora's girlfriend."
Everyone was surprised and even Finral fell off his chair. Laughing at their reactions, Asta walked in front of you with sparkles on his eyes. He's so cute! He welcomed you warmly and the others followed too. That's when you realized they're hospitable and such very good people. Charmy immediately offered you a cupcake and Vanessa gave you a glass of wine as you accepted it shyly. You don't drink so you silently put it down on the table as they started bombing you with questions.
That's when Zora entered the place.
"Y/N?"
"Zora!" You cheered like a kid with a cupcake stuffed in your mouth. "Look, they gave me a cupcake!"
"I knew my instincts were right."
He scoffed before grabbing the hood of your jacket as he dragged you out of the place but you were protesting.
"Hey! Let go of my shirt, idiot!"
"I told you not to come, stupid shrimp!"
"I'm not a shrimp, you're just a tree!"
He rolled his eyes before deeply sighing. "What am I going to do to you, Y/N? You're so stubborn."
"You're just so serious, Zora. I just want to see you in action!"
"What do you think of this? A joke? I'm not doing this for fun, stupid shrimp!"
You scratched the back of your neck before proceeding. This might turn into a major argument but you didn't choose to back down.
"I told you I can help!"
"We don't need your help!"
"The nerve—"
You were cut off by a loud clearing of the throat. That's when Yami came into the scene with a cigarette on his lips and he just probably got out of the bathroom.
"You're so noisy, stupid shits! Zora, let her be. It won't be our fault if she got hurt anyway. And you, Y/N, make sure to be a help, not a burden."
Do I really look like one?
Cheering like a baby, you raised both of your arms. Finally! Finally! You can now show off your powers to everyone and you can see your boyfriend fighting bad people. Isn't it great?
"See?" You looked at Zora with a smirk.
"Whatever, shrimp. Just don't do anything stupid."
"Got it!"
