Love in Fiction

A smile and a laugh, add a warm embrace,
And that's the formula for my heart to race,
It's a picture perfect memory that I get to keep,
For you are the person I see in my sleep.

Every time you fall, I always catch your back,
I'm ready to be your ally, following your track,
I'd hold your hand and never let it go,
In my mind, all I can say is "Babe, I love you so."

But you are the person that I could never own,
For the whole world will surely disown,
The image we have built through the years,
Now, keeping you is one of my biggest fears.

Now, I hide the pain with my big, goofy smile,
And keep my distance, but not more than a mile,
My tears fall as the camera plays action,
As your lips touches his, our love is in fiction
