"No dad! I don't want this damn company!"
"You have no choice Scott! I'm retired now. I have to hand the company down to you!"
"God I hate that the other kids live in Texas. This is bullshit."
"Calm down. It's not so bad."
"I hated never seeing you when I was growing up. It's such a busy job, you can't handle a personal life. I want that dad! I'm 23. I wanna get married and have kids. All of what you never had time for."
"I had a wife, and I had you and your sisters. It's not my fault your mother didn't wanna stick around."
"Yeah. Let's just blame as usual. I lost my mother because of you! You refused to let me go so she didn't fight."
"That's not my fault. It was hers. She should've fought for her kid. She didn't, I did. Not my fault Scott."
"Whatever. I gotta go." I slammed the office door shut. Now it's my office door. My asshole father has to hand it down to one of his kids. Unfortunately, I'm the only child that lives in LA. It's automatically placed in my hands. I'm too busy for this shit though.
I'm a partier. I love to party and get drunk. If I have to constantly be working here, it'll take time out of my partying.

A month later and I'm still with this damn company. It's not as hard as I thought to still party. I just go out the night before and come to work the next day with an ass load of coffee.I was told I had to hire an assistant though. I get to choose which is good, "Scott. Your first interview is here."
"Send them in." I said to the receptionist.
A minute later a small woman walked in. She looked pale and frail, "My name is Lucy. I'd be more than happy to be your assistant Scott."
I stood up and stared at her from behind my desk, "First of all, it's Mr. Hoying to you Lucy. And second, I asked for a male assistant."
"Oh. I'm sorry." She walked out with a frown on her pale face.
An hour later and I had been through four more interviews. I hated them all. The last three were older men that wanted to be the boss and hated that a 23 year old asshole drunk was gonna be in charge of them. But I didn't care.
I had one more interview and if this one didn't go right, the receptionist would have to find more by tomorrow or I was without an assistant.
"The last one is on his way. He's a younger man, married." She winked at me and walked out. Married huh?
