--Scott--

My last interview was here. I hope I like this one because I'm not going without an assistant.

"Right this way." I heard the receptionist say. She opened my door and walked in, "Mr. Hoying. This is the last one."

I looked up just as a small, brunette man walked through the door, "Hello." I gave him a smile and he looked over at me quickly.

"Hello. I'm Mitch." He said, holding his hand out.

I shook his small hand and smiled at him once again, "I'm Mr. Hoying, but you can call me Scott." The receptionist rolled her eyes at me and left the room, "So, Mitch. Have a seat." I motioned to the chair on the other side of my desk and he sat down, "So. Your name is Mitch. What's the last?"

"McCormick."

"McCormick? Is that your maiden name?"

"No. I got married and changed it."

"You're married?"

"I am. For 6 years."

"Must be a lucky lady."

"Why would I change my last name if I married a woman?"

"You outsmarted me. Nice. So, you're married. Have any kids?"

"Yes. I have a 5 year old son."

"Oh cute. What's his name?"

"Andrew."

"Nice. Well, I understand having kids is great and being married is, well, yeah. You're how old?"

"I'm 22."

"Young. You been to college?"

"I went sometimes but I decided to be a stay at home dad."

"Well. I'll look through your résumé sometime. You're definitely the best guy I've interviewed today."

"Well, thank you."

"I'll think more about it and read more about you, but I'm 99% sure I want you as my assistant."

"Thank you Mr. Ho-Scott. Thanks." He stood up and we shook hands quickly.

"I'll call you tomorrow morning and let you know if you have the job."

"Alright. Thank you." He opened the door and walked out with a big, white smile on his beautiful face.
