I'm engaged. To Scott Hoying. Wow. I know marriage is hard, I definitely know that, but it's worth it if the person you're married to actually loves you. And I know Scott loves me. I know it.

"Morning Andrew."

"Morning daddy."

"Cereal or pancakes?" I asked him as I walked into the kitchen.

"Pancakes!"

"Will do!" I started making his pancakes before I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, "Hello?"

"Is this Mitch Grassi? The love of my life and my fiancé?"

"It tis. What's up Scotty?"

"Nothing much. Sitting in my car that happens to be in your driveway." I stopped mixing the pancake mix and walked to the front door. I opened it and saw Scott's car in the driveway. I hung up the phone when Scott opened his door, "Hey! Miss me?"

"Always!" He got up to the porch and picked me up in his arms and swung me around before kissing me passionately. He set me down and followed me into the house.

"Pancakes? Andrew's choice?" Scott asked, smiling.

"Of course." Scott made a funny face at Andrew when he walked back into the living room and sat down next to him on the couch.

"Spongebob huh?"

"Always." I watched Andrew scoot closer to Scott and then Scott pick him up and set him on his lap. I enjoyed hearing them giggle as I made breakfast.

"I hate meetings." Scott stated as he sat down in his desk chair.

"Me too." I sat across from him and he smiled at me, "What?"

"You're beautiful." I felt myself blushing and looked down at my paperwork, smiling, "Your smile means everything to me."

"Oh whatever." I rolled my eyes at him, still smiling.

"It's true. Can I give you some advice about it though?" I looked up at him, finally, and noticed the serious expression on his face.

"Sure." My smile fell.

"Let your smile change the world, but don't let the world change your smile."

"You're a natural poet, Scott. You know that?"

"How so?"

"You have a way with words that I can't describe. It's beautiful."

"I just know when I have something to say, I say it. Even if it's wrong, or no one would like it anyway. I have the freedom of speech so why not embrace that? Use it to all my ability while I can. I love words. They speak loudly. But not as loud, as actions."
