*A small girl with pigtails walks onto the stage with a nervous expression on her face. When seeing the crowd, she flinches and freezes*
The_hooded_girl: Now, no reason to be shy, Kumiko-chan. Come sit with us. We're not scary. *flashes wide teeth-showing grin*
Amaterasu: ^^"'' Well, we know quite a few people who would say otherwise, BUT! Don't listen to anything bad they might say about us Kumiko-chan. We're quite harmless. ^o^ Now onto the fun part! What's your name, hobby's, dreams for the future, what's your favorite color? Weapon? Any like or dislikes? Hey, you're pretty small for a ninja by the way. But power to the little people! *actually shorter than Kumiko T.T *
Kumiko: *takes cautious seat across from the_hooded_girl and Amaterasu* Uhm, okay. Uhm. I'm Kumiko Datore. I like flowers... and I want to be a ninja so I can protect my siblings.
The_hooded_girl: anything you dislike?
Kumiko: *narrows eyes * My cousin Daisuke.
The_hooded_girl: ^^ "
Amaterasu: Ah, I guess we have another to add to the club ^^''' You'll fit right in around here, Kumiko. You haven't met them yet, but there are a few others around here with family issues.
Kumiko: * blinks *
The_hooded_girl: Let's not get ahead of things. ^^ " Kumiko, tell us a little more about yourself. You just graduated from the Academy, isn't that right?
Kumiko: Yes, I'm in a team with Hiro and Kuro.
The_hooded_girl: That's right! Daro was promoted, so there was a vacant spot. Aww welcome to the club of beloved brats! ^_^ * hugs Kumiko *
Amaterasu: *whispers to the_hooded_girl * You did make her sign the release forms ahead of time, right? But welcome to the crew, Kumiko! Hope you have a good health care provider—I mean, free meals every Friday! Except for Hiro and Akira. We can't afford to pay for them anymore >.>
Kumiko: * blinks confused * What?
The_hooded_girl: Nothing, nothing ^^" don't break your pretty little head over the details. We will take care of everyone... everything... heh heh what's your favorite color?
Kumiko: ... blue?
The_hooded_girl: perfect! * trying to search for a topic that will divert the attention, but coming up blank *
Amaterasu: I think Akira's favorite color is blue. Ah! That's right! You're going to have so much fun meeting everyone! The Konoha brats are fun ^_^ Just go with the flow and don't worry if they look like they might kill each other. It's quite normal U.U''
Kumiko: kill...?
The_hooded_girl: * whispers harshly to Amaterasu* don't scare her off already, we can't find anyone else to fill the spot on such short notice. We'll have to reimburse her. Read the fine print. They added it after the first book. *turns to Kumiko * you have nothing to worry about. She's just joking ^^ " *pats Amaterasu rather hard on the shoulder.* Right? *glares at Amaterasu *
Amaterasu: ^_^! That's right! I'm known as a big joker around here. Don't mind me ^^"'' So why don't we give the people what they have been waiting for? I think we've made them wait long enough, don't you?
The_hooded_girl: That's true! Let's get on with the first chapter then. Lots of drama and action this season! Enjoy!
Kumiko: wait! What do you mean 'kill' ? *watches Amaterasu and the_hooded_girl leave the studio* Hey! Wait!
*Man appears and gives a deep somber sigh. He's wearing a blue haori and has his long hair pulled back in a low ponytail.*
Man: Poor, poor, girl. I'm afraid they've got you. *He gives a dramatic sniffle * Is no one safe from those two?! But don't worry! We'll work hard to protect you from whatever plans they have. I'm afraid they've refused to reveal those plans to any of the other cast. But that's why we've gotta stick together! For our wallet's sake! I mean, for our own lives' sake! *mutters saying how he just knows they'll try to sucker him into buying them more expensive treats again. *
Kumiko: wh-who are you?
Mystery Man: *Man points to himself with a big smile* I'm Akio! Nice to meet your acquaintance ^^ I look forward to working with you by the way. Ah, we have a bit of time before the opening scene, would you like to join our newly formed committee? All the cast are involved, saved for our two 'lovely' hostesses. Our goal is quite simple: Revenge ^^
Kumiko: revenge on what?
Akio: We're all avenging ourselves and our freedom. I'm afraid Amaterasu and the_hooded_girl both suckered everyone into these binding contracts and have caused problems for us both on and off the set. It's quite a mess in the last book and everyone has had enough. Even the Hokage has joined the committee as Head Chairman alongside the Kazekage. And don't worry about any repercussions. You'll be under the sworn protection of Lady Tsunade and Gaara, as well as the rest of us. ^_^And trust me, if you are confused about all of this now, it will all become clear to you in due time. So, care to join? We were all in the middle of a meeting when we got wind of your draft into this mad house.
Kumiko: Uhm... I guess it won't hurt to at least hear you out. *stands up and looks at Akio.* Lead the way then.
Akio: ^_^ You've made the right choice. If you'll follow me this way—and keep your senses sharp for those girls. We don't want our secret base to be discovered. Think of it as you first mission as a ninja. *carefully looks around before leading the way and disappearing with Kumiko. *
*Knocking is heard on a secret door *
Female voice: What's the password, wolf?
Akio: ^^""" You already know it's me, so what's the point? I brought the new girl~~~ ^.^
*door opens to reveal the Hokage who is smirking down at the new girl *
Tsunade: Good work, wolf. Now let's get this meeting back in order. *Cunning smirk *
