"Ashton, come on." I groan, completely frustrated with him.

"I'm sorry!" He exclaims, resting his head on the car window.

I sigh, "I'm just going to do the talking when all of my family talks to us. Okay? If you talk I'll probably snap at you."

We're almost at the stupid party, and Ashton and I are getting on each others nerves.

"Why can't I talk to them?" He whines.

"Why would you want to talk to my family!" I groan, pulling up to the building they have this dumb party at.

"Oh my god, you know what, I just won't talk all night." He mutters.

"Then why did I bring you?" I question, turning to look at him.

"Emma!" He groans, rolling his eyes.

"Just- fuck, let's go." I mutter, getting out of the car.

"Okay, wait." He calls, grabbing my wrist and turning me around.

"What?"

"I don't want us to go in there mad at each other. I'm sorry, okay?" He quietly says.

I sigh, "Alright. Everything's fine."

He smiles, "You're amazing, okay? We're okay?"

I nod, "We're okay."

"Alright. Let's go then." He smiles.

When we get inside I take a deep breath, trying to keep myself calm.

"Em, hey, are you okay?" He quietly asks.

"Yea, fine." I quietly reply.

"Emma!" Britney yells, rushing over to us.

"Hi." I chuckle.

She sighs, "I need to guys to come sit with me, I can't handle my date right now."

"Who is it?" I ask.

"I met him a few weeks ago. I haven't said anything to you about him because I know you wouldn't believe me when I say I haven't fucked him yet."

"What?" I reply.

"Is that supposed to be a good thing?" Ashton asks.

"Oh shut up, your band is just a bunch of sluts too." She mutters.

We get to the table, and Britney's date smiles up at us.

"Guys, this is Cameron." Britney smiles, sitting next to him. "Cameron, this is my cousin Emma and her friend, Ashton."

"Why are you saying friend like that?" Cameron asks.

"Because I believe they're fucking." She replies.

"Britney!" I exclaim.

Ashton just chuckles and I elbow him.

"What was that for?" He mutters.

I roll my eyes, "Don't laugh."

"Stop rolling your eyes." He replies.

"It's my thing. I roll my eyes. Get over it. Like-"

"Oh would you two shut up?" Britney interrupts.

"It's not my fault." Ashton mumbles.

"It's not mine either." I reply.

"I don't care. I thought you guys were going to be normal and not act like this with all these people here but I guess I was wrong." Britney says. "What's even going on?"
