Chapter 9: A Day of Nothingness, Time for Rest

I was starting to wake up from the god-knows-how-many-times I've passed out. Thankfully, no Skyrim dreams this time.

Last thing I remember was fighting the Heartless that Yami summoned before trying to attack him, to no avail. Then Yuyuko came and saved me, after that, I passed out on the ground.

Now, I recognized the familiar roof of the Hakugyokurou I've been living in for a while. I was tucked snugly in a futon. I tried to get up but I found myself unable to. Not because I don't have the energy, no. But because I felt some weights on me. I lifted the covers and found Youmu snuggled snugly next to me. After this, unexpected-but-not-unwelcome occurrence, I can only mutter the most intelligent of responses.

"What the fu-"

So, after some higher being stopped me from cursing. I started racking my brain for an answer.

'What the hell? How did we end up sleeping together? How did I get in bed with her? AM I STILL A VIRGIN?!' Thankfully, during my thoughts, I noticed that we are still fully clothed. I sighed in relief before continuing to think for an answer.

That didn't go too far though. My thoughts were interrupted when Youmu unconsciously wrapped her arms around my waist and rested her head against my chest. In a moment that's out of character for me, I freaked out.

'Oh, no! UNAUTHORIZED SNUGGLES! &(*$BGN*$#BG(GG*B!!!' I thought despite me having no problem impulsively hugging her before. The difference was that I was the one who initiated it. 'WhatdoIdo?! Is this what Youmu felt whenever she gets teased by Yuyuko or I?!' I tried to stop myself from freaking out even more. I decided to just...

...Roll with it.

I wrapped an arm around Youmu's waist before I closed my eyes and drifted myself to sleep. Before I fully succumbed, I can somewhat feel Youmu nuzzling her head even more.

Timeskip

The birds chirped, signalling the start of a new day. The sleeping gardener Youmu slowly stirred her eyes as she slowly woke up. She was met with the sight of (Y/N) first thing in the morning. She saw that her hands were on my chest and that I had a hand wrapped around her shoulder. She blinked as she processed what just happened. When it all sank in, her face became beet red.

"Eep!" Youmu shrieked in embarrassment.

I, who have been peacefully asleep, woke up abruptly.

"I'm sorry! I wasn't trying to cross the border!" I screamed as I was surprised from the sudden wake up call. I looked around and found just Youmu. "...Oh, thank god. I can't deal with another Skyrim dream." I mumbled quietly.

"Abababababababa..." Youmu tried to say something but only managed to stutter out something incoherent.

I tried to sit up but found myself unable to. I felt another weight pulling me down, and no, it's not Youmu. She's still a blushing mess unable to do anything. I looked at my other side and saw Yuyuko sleeping next to me.

"The hell?" I said confusedly.

It was at this moment that Yuyuko chose to wake up as well. She groggily opened her eyes and rubbed the sleepiness out of them.

"Morning Youmu, (Y/N),,," She said through yawns.

"Y- Yuyuko-sama!" Youmu said, having regained (somewhat) control of herself. "W- What are you doing here?!" She asked calmly. Yes, she's completely calm, not freaking out at all.
