Chapter 2: In Border of Death, There I Lived

It has been three months since I started living in Hakugyokurou with Yuyuko and Youmu. It has been... interesting to say the least. Because I don't want to freeload, I offered to help with chores around the house. That was the first time I discovered how much of a glutton Yuyuko can be. I have never cooked for at least 15 people before. Since I lived with them, I feel that it's just right to tell them about my ability. When I did, Yuyuko told me to practice swordplay with Youmu. Seeing no harm in it, I accepted.

The first thing I needed to learn was how to summon my weapon. I learned it relatively fast, in just about a day. Turns out it was a Keyblade and mine was called Neo Kingdom Key. After that, came the actual training. Youmu told me that she actually sensed magic inside me. After I trained in magic, it turns out that I can use electricity magic. So I did the only sane thing to do when you can use electricity. I took out my phone (It was in my pocket when I died, somehow it got carried over as well) and charged it, to my delight. It worked! Oh, and of course I can use my electricity to make myself go faster as well. With that, I decided to focus on my speed. Youmu also taught me how to fly, now I'm free as a bird! Speaking of flying...

Flashback

(Y/N): "Oh yeah!!!"

I was flying around in glee.

Youmu: "Be careful!"

(Y/N): "I will! Man, this is so much fun!"

Indeed, it was so much fun that I forgot about Youmu's warning. As a result, I crashed right into a tree.

(Y/N): "Oof!"

Back to the Present

Yeah, let's not talk about that. Anyway, right now, I was being taught about another world. This world is apparently a world where Youkai and Humans coexist. The place I'm currently at is the Netherworld, where the dead gather after being judged by the Yama after passing through the Road of Liminality and crossing the Sanzu River.

(Y/N): "Question. What's this world called?"

In front of me was a woman with blonde hair and was carrying a parasol. She looked eerily similar to Maribel. Her name is Yakumo Yukari.

Next to her was another woman with blonde hair, except she has nine fluffy tail behind her. I had to resist the urge to rub the tail, but I managed. Her name is Ran Yakumo. She's Yukari's Shikigami and she's the one teaching me about this world. Yukari is also Yuyuko's friend and is currently visiting.
