Thanks to Yukari's laziness, the border between Gensokyo and the Netherworld is still open. Reimu grumbled about wasting her time seeing Yukari. At least the phantoms finally got bored of her shrine and went back to the Netherworld.
Now that the path to Gensokyo is open for the foreseeable future, I took the opportunity to explore Gensokyo a bit. It's a beautiful day outside. On days like this...
(Y/N): "Memes like that should be put to rest."
Yep. Anyway, I'm now in the Forest of Magic. When I first heard Forest of Magic, I was expecting moving plants, auroras, maybe some Whomping Willows. Instead, what I saw was trees and mushrooms everywhere. Oh, there's a familiar face. And she saw me too, she started descending to where I am on her broom.
Marisa: "Yo! What's up ~ze?"
(Y/N): "The sky... and trees."
Marisa: "Smartass."
(Y/N): "In all seriousness, though. Nothing really, just exploring. What about you? What are you up to with that sack?"
Yep, she's currently carrying a giant sack. It seemed to be empty, though.
Marisa: "I'm going to my Patchy's place ~ze! I'm gonna borrow some books!"
...Who's Patchy?
Marisa: "Oh, I know! Wanna come with me?"
I shrugged.
(Y/N): "I mean, sure. I don't have anything else to do."
Marisa: "Great! Follow me ~ze!"
She started flying and I followed her. We made some small talk while on the way. Suddenly, someone zoomed past us, creating a gust of wind. That person turned back and stopped right in front of us. It's a girl, she has short black hair. She's wearing a white shirt and a black skirt. She's also holding a maple-leaf shaped fan.

She pointed at me. I was beyond confused now.
Marisa: "*sighs* Aya..."

Aya: "I'm the pure and honest Shameimaru Aya! Reporter of the Bunbunmaru Newspaper!"
