Chapter 15: Lunar Encounter, The Sun Rises Once Again

Once again, I find myself soaring through the sky. Or, in this case, the gap, I guess. I just let the gap take me wherever it will take me. There's no way to fight against it anyway. And who knows? Maybe if I struggle it'll just keep me here forever.

"(Y/N), I think I see an exit." Youmu pointed out.

I squinted my eyes and focused on where Youmu was pointing. Sure enough, there was a tear in space. Generally, that meant a way out. Or maybe we'll get shred to bits because it's a black hole or something, you never know.

"I think you're right." I agreed. "Are we sure it's the way out, though?"

"Well, the choices are either we stay here forever or take the risk." Youmu reasoned.

"To be honest, staying here forever with you doesn't sound too bad..." I mumbled loud enough for Youmu to hear.

"(Y/N)! Not the time for this!" Youmu reprimanded, with a light tint of pink on her cheek. Probably imagining living like that.

"Okay, okay!" I conceded. "Let's get out of here!"

And with that, we headed towards the tear in space, or gap. Leading up to who knows where.

"Reimu, you sure we can trust Yukari about this ~ze?" Marisa asked with skepticism. Can't blame her, honestly, Yukari is probably one of the biggest trolls in Gensokyo after all.

"I'm sure we can for this one." Reimu answered. "When it comes to Gensokyo's well being, she doesn't mess around... much."

"I... see..." Marisa said with a sweatdrop.

It was then that she heard something. The sound of someone falling.

"Huh? Do you hear that?" Marisa asked.

"Hear what?"

"That scream. It's coming closer too by the sound of it ~ze."

Reimu stayed quiet for a bit to try and listen to the sound. "Huh... you're right. And it sounds an awful lot like..." She trailed off.

"Move away! Move away!" I plead to Marisa and Reimu, who would get crushed underneath me if they don't move away fast.

Thankfully, they listened. Whether they actually listened to me or it was a self-preservation instinct didn't matter. At least I can land safely now.

I did a backflip before landing perfectly on my feet. "Perfect!"

Marisa and Reimu put out a signboard that says '10' in front of them. Where they got said signboard I will never know, and you readers never will too.

"Thank you. Thank you. You're too kind." I did a mock bow as I thanked them.

"Where did you come from ~ze?" Marisa asked, putting away her and Reimu's signboard.

"One word. Yukari." I answered and that explained everything.

"Ah..." Reimu and Marisa groaned in understanding.

But, the fall-fest was not over just yet. For there is one more person Yukari sent using her gap. And that means the scream of one more person is heard.

"Huh? There's another one ~ze." Marisa stated.

"Oh, you're right." Reimu agreed. "Wonder who that is?"

"Oh, that's..." Before I could explain, I was cut off.

"Look out!"

She quite literally crashed right above me. I was down with my back towards the floor. Youmu was sitting safely on my stomach. Both of us groaned in pain from the impact. The compromising position on full view for Reimu and Marisa.
