Now with our objective right in front of our eyes, we introduced ourselves in the only way we know how. By blasting the front door open, forgoing any mention of stealth or subtlety. Who has the honor of blowing the door open? Me, of course!

"For the record, I still don't think this is a good idea." I complained.

"Yet you do it anyway..." Reimu deadpanned at me.

"If I didn't, any of you would have anyway. So what's the point?" I asked as I looked at the incident resolving party, though my gaze lingered particularly towards Marisa and Reimu.

"That's fair." Reimu nodded in agreement. "I guess this is more subtle than Marisa using Master Spark."

"Relatively speaking, yes." I agreed.

"Hey!" Marisa didn't take too kindly at being poke fun of. "Don't talk as if I'm not here ~ze!"

"Yes." I said, effectively shutting any and all arguments Marisa might have. "Let's just go in already."

None argued with that, wanting to get this over with as quickly as possible. With the hole opened in front of us, we welcomed ourselves inside enemy territory as intruders.

And just like intruders, we're immediately met with the sight of a never-ending hallway and the expected resistance from the owner of the mansion, Just like when someone tried to protect what's theirs from a burglar. Huh... when you put it like that, it makes us sound like the bad guys.

...

...

...

...Moving on!

Resistance came in the form of an army. An army of... rabbits?

Now, you might think, 'Oh, they're just rabbits? What harm can they do?' No! Nooooo... These aren't normal rabbits. These rabbits... came in packing heat! They're strapped to the brim with assault rifles and shotguns. Where the heck did they even find these things anyway?!

Thankfully, our group consists of me, the trigger-happy magician and resident klepto Marisa, the girl from the fairy tale herself Alice, the armpit shrine maiden Reimu, and last but not least, gap hag- I mean- gap lady Yukari!

Needless to say, the poor sods never stood a chance, even with all the heat their packing.

"Anyone feel like this is overkill?" I asked, feeling bad about the massacre of the rabbit population we just committed.

"Meh." Marisa shrugged. "It's not like they're dead ~ze."

"Besides, it's less troublesome this way." As expected, an answer befitting the lazy shrine maiden of paradise Reimu herself.

"And what about that bag you're carrying?" I said, pointing to Marisa.

"I have to agree with him, Marisa." Alice shared her sentiment. "I would think that you'd keep your hands to yourself during incidents like this."

"I can't help it ~ze! My arms moved by themselves!" Marisa shamelessly replied.

Yes, that's right. On Marisa's back is a sack full of the rabbits' weapons she looted. It's like this is some sort of game and she's picking up red and blue cards to boost power and gather scores while dodging enemy attacks. Now, wouldn't that be an interesting game?

"Fufufu~ Let her do her things. After all, this way they won't have any way to retaliate when the rabbits wake up." Yukari said, bringing up a good point. "Besides, she might make a good fortune selling that if they made it out there in one piece."
