They had just gone through the first half of the day and Jasie was glad that not many of her classmates were that interested to talk to her.

She guessed that it was still awkward at most but they were just kids. Sooner or later, the classroom would be filled with boisterous noise to be created by those hidden playful mischiefs.

It was now lunch break and Yoona invited her to come eat with her in their school canteen.

Jasie walked alongside her through the wide spacious corridors with both sides of its walls adorned with flower ornaments. The end of the corridor lead to a crossed path of corridors but the area was now more open.

There were small gardens next to them and it would be nice to have a picnic on the grass somewhere beneath the shades of the big beautiful trees that hovered above them.

Jasie was startled as Yoona started speaking to her animatedly.

She was busy admiring the pleasant passage that they had since it seemed surreal for her to really feel at peace there.

"Hey, were you listening to me? Wakey wakey now." Yoona did not seem offended but she really hoped that nothing was wrong.

"Oh shucks...I am so sorry Yoona, I did not mean to ignore you. I just really like the view here."

Feeling very guilty did not do any good to Jasie since she did not want anyone to misunderstand her or mistreat her for doing something she did not intend to.

"Nah...it's alright. Yeah, I kinda like the vibe here. But most importantly, let's hurry, I'm so hungry right now."

Yoona took her arm and ran straight away towards the canteen.

Jasie wondered how was she so energetic with that tiny body of hers. She was a little taller than Yoona but chubbier than her though.

Yoona looked like a korean and a japanese mix with small twinkling brown eyes, a cute nose, and her hair had curly bangs just rightly cut to fill her round face and it amused her so much.

"Mind if I touch your bangs? Hehe." She politely asked her for permission for the silliest of things.

"I don't mind but make it for just three seconds at most."

Jasie liked the feel of fluffy hair as she had thinner hair compared to hers. She touched it almost immediately as she left it.

The canteen they saw was majestic, it had about 15 rows of bright colored table benches carefully aligned towards the center of the whole area. The food shops were aligned from the opposite side of the entrance and it smelt so good and delicious just standing there.

There was no profound interior since it was also made to be blended with natural elements with the clean breeze passing through them in the openness.

No one could feel more at ease with this atmosphere.

They started towards a table bench just near the entrance and nobody seemed to have sat on it since earlier for it was obviously very tidy and seemed to be more brand new than the others.

As they sat down, students and other people started whispering to each other and kept on glancing at them as if they were violating a rule of some sort but they did not mind the discomfort at all.

Jasie decided to shake it off and asked Yoona a question she was dying to have since earlier from the moment they had met.

"I was meaning to ask you this. Why did you hold my hand and guide me towards my seat earlier? Why are you so nice to me?"
