The silent tension in the room intensified the spooked expressions of the party guests.

Blank soundproof walls encompassed them which suffocated the life of the supposed joyous celebration. It was more threatening than exciting as they were regretfully seated in the presence of someone who entirely became unfamiliar in their midst.

Clyde somehow tried to deter from having to experience the consequences of his materialized visions.

He imagined being completely invincible, that from then on, he would not have to suffer any more from the selfish decisions that he had made.

Presently, he felt that it had come true since that day at the mansion. It was the freedom he was meant to have enjoyed from the beginning of his miracles which redeemed him.

He stood above the podium as if to speak to them but the microphone was switched off rendering it useless.

He knew that she was on his way.

"We're still incomplete at the moment so how about we have an icebreaker? We'll have it done by two groups."

Laura seemed utterly speechless since she just came to know about what he was capable of.

Earlier, as she peeked through a slight opening, she witnessed him trampling on the gift he bought for her. It was a long pink Sunday dress with a flowery texture which she would have loved. He then folded it and wrapped it like it was brand new.

Did she do something wrong to him that he would do such a despicable thing?

He had told her to give him some privacy in the room after stationing the restaurant workers at arranged areas. His parents just overlooked his rude and demanding behavior like he was the one in authority.

What a crazy jerk.

He was starting to remind her of her awful ex who she greatly loathed. He suggested to only invite everyone he personally knew and that included "her".

He said that it would be his judgment day to see if what he felt for her was genuine. It was unfair since they did not conduct any serious discussions about it.

Why did she trust him to be decent?

That was the ugly side of him but he harbored some ugly feelings that made him change into his worst self.

Should she forfeit from their deal or accept him just the way he was currently?

People would point their fingers if she appeared to be so dumb knowing that he liked someone else.

Maybe he just needed someone to support him. Maybe he just needed her to tell him that everything was going to be alright.

That was surely not who he was.

What would Jasie do if she was in her place?

She hated pretending to be kind and gentle in front of her but she was his priority.

If only she would not come.

Alexon secured the hand brakes as he parked along a narrow road in a tight blind spot since there were no more vacancies nearest the entrance.

Jasie perceived that it was the right place. She might be able to join in as long as she asked for permission from her parents, her father would understand.

"Where are we? Is the food good here?"

Ares really cared about the quantity more than the quality though, servings should be more than enough.
