It was Sunday afternoon and it was the most special day of the week where families of the three best friends gathered together.

Even the parents of Yoona were surprisingly available when they were usually not around.

They went to their favourite mall which mostly consisted of thrifty shops. It was the best place to spend their money wisely.

There were specialized stores of varied clothing apparel, snack booths, some restaurants and an all-in-one value store covering food items and other everyday necessities.

Their parents all went grocery shopping while all the children went to buy presents for both Jasie and Yoona. Their birthday was the day after tomorrow.

They planned to have it at Yoona’s mansion which was located in a private subdivision just next to the neighbourhood where her friends were staying.

It was a beautiful establishment filled with antique decors and elaborate furniture. There was a combination of some Asian elements integrated into their home.

Like how there were certain areas which were more minimalistic like the living room that focused on harbouring the sunlight to accentuate the plants that surrounded a big white sofa and a round wooden table. They mostly used seat cushions rather than chairs and both of their guest rooms contained a futon even though they had a bed.

The estate had a leisure room where they could play parlor games or do certain sports like basketball, volleyball, and many more that involved playing ball. They could even use it as their own gym for any physical training since it was equipped with various gear.

The most exciting place would be a hidden panic room which contained emergency rations frequently replaced that could serve a dozen people for months. It also contained practical weapons like knives, long wooden sticks, and swords like the kitana which was used by the samurai in ancient Japan.

There were few firearms that were legally bought and both of Yoona’s parents were licensed gunners. It was a pastime they both had when they were much younger but now these guns can only be used for emergencies.

Jasie was astounded when she had entered the mansion for the first time. She already knew that Yoona’s family was well-off but she could not imagine the extravagant home that she was residing in. It fairly exceeded her expectations.

Yoona was a very simple and humble person and she did not all flaunt about all the riches that she had been enjoying. She also preferred buying cheap items rather than expensive ones.

At her young age, she came to understand how hard it was to earn money and how much sacrifice it took to get that far.

Jasie admired her for that since her own father was someone who kept on emphasizing that saving money as much as possible was more practical than spending it needlessly. He definitely was like a scrooge in a more positive way.

The children were currently browsing the new arrivals in the bookstore. Both Jasie and Yoona wanted to increase the book collections that they had since reading was ultimately their favourite hobby.

Jasie also had frequented the private library of Yoona’s residence and it composed of complete collections of various genres. It was just purely marvellous.

“Guys! I have to go to the restroom. I’ll be right back.” Raphael urgently told them.

“Don’t take too long or else we’ll leave you once we’re done here.” Jasie said to him with a playful tone.

She now was very comfortable with him and she did not care anymore about being conscious of his feelings.

“Oh...don’t you all dare. I might haunt all of you if something bad happens to me.“ Raphael seemed to really mean it.
