Have you ever been in a position where you just can't be yourself? where you are constantly expected to be the best, to be perfect. A perfect child, a perfect sibling, a perfect friend, a perfect student, a perfect significant other and just be perfect. Where you're taught to cover your flaws up like you cover those dark circles around your eyes with the concealer. Explaining the feelings can be so hard that you are rather OKAY than telling others what you're gong thought. Do people even care? are they even bothered?
So many questions running around in every adolescent's mind searching for answers in every place they go to but all they get is a disappointment. Acceptance. what's so hard about accepting people as they are? Why does the society have to judge every single person who wishes to follow their dream? There are thousands of teenagers even adults who chose to do something they never wanted to just because "what will they say?"
I cant even come at the society because even parents don't accept their kids as they are, continuously trying to mold them into something they're far from. I don't know what a family is, or what it's like. Its not like i don't have a family, i do have the Perfect family, for the cameras. I wonder what its like to build your own family and to make sure your kids don't go through whatever you went though. Parents are known to be the first people we interact with. They are the ones we for a safe attachment with. You know when you're growing up, forming your personality you're going to have one million people who will tell you what to do with your life. Please follow your heart.
You have a beautiful journey planned ahead, a rocky road filled with wild flowers and pretty sunsets, your person by your side and your one life. They say we live only once but technically, we die only once. Right now, at this very moment you're living, you're living the best life you can so make it worth and never give up!
