Shu x reader-The Acrobat

'' Remind me again why we're going there?"

Valt sighed and playfully punched Shu's shoulder.'' It's (y/n)'s acrobat show! We're supposed to go there, we're her friends!''

Shu had been dragged along by the bluenette to watch his friend (y/n) perform. It wasn't that he didn't like her, he was actually terrified of the stunts that she could do, and he didn't want her to hurt herself if things went wrong. That would be unbearable to watch.Unfortunately, when he told this to Valt, he said that she had been an acrobat for 5 years now, she could watch herself.

Unfortunately, Shu's mind was still going over the worst outcomes.

They along with the rest of the beyclub reached the place: just a hospital. Daigo had told them that Ryota was going to watch the show too, as he was admitted in the hospital.

''Man, I'm nervous. She'll be alright , won't she?" Wakiya was fretting over his childhood friend as well. He gasped when he saw (y/n) make her entry with a few backflips, and smiling at the hospital's residents.

(Y/n ) now quickly began to climb a tightrope that was situated at a height too much for Shu's heart to take. She walked across the tightrope, jumped up, did a perfect cartwheel and landed on the rope with a handstand, never once dropping the smile. She then jumped-yes,jumped-off the tightrope with a somersault, and landed on the ground with amazing balance.

At that moment, Shu's heart filled with admiration for the petite girl, who was now smiling and bowing before the clapping people, including the beyclub. She must've seen them over the crowd, because she gasped and did an energetic wave. Valt and Rantaro were cheering with all their might, while Shu and Daigo simply clapped. Wakiya gave her a nod of admiration.

After everyone apart from the six of them had gone home, she made her way over to them, immediately starting a flustered ramble." God, I hope you could've seen the kid's faces, they looked terrified! I mean, they would be of course, but....''

''Yeah, yeah we get it. Now let's head home.''Wakiya said.

They chuckled at that, and everyone went their own way, except for Shu and (y/n) who lived pretty close to each other and walked home together. 

'' I saw your face too, Shu! You looked freaking mortified!" (y/n) teased, and Shu could only grunt in playful annoyance as the female let out a breathless laugh. Shu looked towards her, and immediately realized something.

He was in love with her. 

Oh,god. The whole time, he had been denying it every time the thought crossed his mind. He thought that he only looked at her like a good friend would at another friend. The whole time, whenever he saw her talking to another male, he dismissed the jealousy as concern for her. But all along, he had been in love, and it took him her smile to realize it.

But now, he wanted to act upon these feelings.

''Hey,(y/n).''

Said girl turned towards him with a ''Hm?'' and with her head tilted.

She was always so, so adorable.

''What if I told you that I liked you?'' (y/n) didn't look at all troubled by the question.Rather, she smiled as if she knew exactly what to say.

''I would tell you that I felt the same.''

''Then maybe I do like you,'' Shu whispered, and both of their lips met. Her lips felt so sweet and warm, they moved perfectly against his own.

After they pulled apart, Shu smiled.

He had fallen for the right girl.
