Shu x reader x Daigo

You understood both Shu and Daigo.

Shu had a unique personality:  He was kind, yet ruthless in battle. He was quiet, but cared deeply about people whom mattered to him. He trusted you with all of his woes, his worries, and his insecurities.

Daigo was unpredictable. One moment, he'd crush and taunt you in a battle, and the next moment, he'd be buying you your favourite food. He came off as intimidating, but had the purest heart of them all. He was always there to lend you a listening ear.

But what you couldn't understand was why they were doing.. this.

You had just come by the beypark, because you had just lost a match and wanted to get rid of your anger and frustration. And also because Valt had texted you saying that " something's about to go down, you better be here".

You entered, and saw Shu and Daigo engaged in a furiously competitive arm- wrestling contest. Everyone around you was cheering for one or the other. You didn't understand the motive, but watched , entranced, as their foreheads glistened with sweat and their facial expressions were as though a tiger was staring down its rival.

" ..... Why are they doing this?"

'' Good point! Didn't think that!"

But unknown to you, both the boys harbored deep romantic feelings for you, and this was basically a competition for you. They agreed mutually that whoever one this one, would basically get to spend some time with you. And here they were, fighting it out.

" I won't lose," both of them thought. " Not in front of ( Y/N) !"

Daigo felt his arm getting weaker by the moment. The boy had been able to hold out this long because of the the strong emotions he felt for you, but he knew he wouldn't last long. It ended as he expected when Shu slammed his hand down on the table with all the force he could muster, and smirked at his victory.

" I won, (y/n)." Shu happily said, walking over to where you stood.'' Let's go, I'll get you (f/f)."

" I saw, Shu. '' You said, finally understanding their crushes on you." I'll come in a moment."

You walked towards Daigo, and heard him mutter," If only I'd been able to hold on a little bit longer...."

'' Don't worry, Daigo." He turned his head around to look at you, and said," But I still lost.''

"You didn't give up till the end." He blushed immensely seeing you give him a closed-eye smile, and went back to looking at the table after mumbling a "Thanks."

You skipped back to Shu. Both of these boys were precious to you, and you wanted small steps before announcing you liked them. A nicely made (F/f) always removes bad memories.
