Daigo x Reader (Request)

This is a soulmate AU by the way, so enjoy!

Soulmate concept: When both you and your soulmate look at each other for the first time, a matching mark will appear on your wrists.

" I still don't see why I should go....." Daigo said, while his teammate, Clio frowned and pouted.

" Because (y/n) makes amazing music! I'm a hundred percent sure you'll love her. And besides, you might find your soulmate there..."

Daigo's face flushed. He had always wondered who his soulmate would be. Would they be annoying? Loud? Maybe like him? Even though it didn't seem like it, Daigo was always a believer in the whole idea of soulmates and believed they did exist. So, as unlikely it was to happen.... maybe Clio was right and he would meet his.

"Fine, I guess... but you better not be wasting my time." Clio grinned happily and hugged his captain. " Yay! We better leave now though, her show starts soon."

" Hold up. Now?" Clio just nodded and literally dragged Daigo to wherever his little friend was. During the journey, Daigo's mind was filled with questions. What was your and Clio's relation? Were you his soulmmate? No, that couldn't be, he told himself. Clio said Cuza was his soulmate. Why do I even care though...?

" We're here!" Clio ushered Daigo. It was a coffee shop, not too crowded, but decently packed. "Made it in time!" Clio sighed, pushing himself and Daigo into a seat. An announcer was saying," Now, please welcome (y/n) (l/n)!"

A girl came on stage slowly. Her violin was behind her, and when she spoke into the mic, Daigo found himself immediately relaxing. 

Her voice sounds so soft and calming... and she looks really cute. Daigo thought, before jerking his head and feeling a red hue rise onto his face. What am I thinking?

But no matter how much I look away....he turned to her again. She kept singing. My eyes fall on you anyway...

Soon, the song finished.  The singer looked extremely flustered because of all the praise.But Daigo had to agree that it was well deserved. Your song had taken his breath away in all aspects...and you had done everything so well.

"Yay,(y/n)! You just keep getting better!"

" Go, (y/n)!"

" Your voice is amazing!"

" Let's go meet her, cap'n!" Clio grabbed his hand and lead him backstage.

" I don't think this is a good idea-"

" Clio!" The voice which had made him feel all sorts of emotions was heard again. His face flushed again as he looked behind.

"(y/n)!" Clio laughed as he hugged you. " Been pretty long, hasn't it?"

"You know it! I missed my bro..." her voice trailed off as she looked at him for the first time. Immediately, his wrist felt weird and so did his heart. It felt like it was jumping more and more she looked at him. They both glanced at their wrists and gasped.

(y/n) looked up again. Her smile was one of pure happiness.

" Well, hello, soulmate."
