Now on to the oneshot!

PROMPT: Before they started dating, Fubuki and Y/n are best friends. Like the best friends that have known each other since they were in diapers. Whenever Y/n would get upset, hurt or just really tired, they would snuggle up on Fubuki and nuzzle their face into the crook of Fubuki's neck. It's completely platonic, nothing romantic about it whatsoever.

When Fubuki and Y/n finally confess their feelings for one another and begin dating, Y/n immediately snuggles up in 'their' spot on Fubuki and just completely relaxes. Fubuki asks why they always do this, and Y/n replies that it makes them feel safe and calm.

If anybody ever asked you who your oldest friend was, you would immediately say," Fubuki." Of course, the two of you weren't just friends now, you were dating. But your relationship went way back.

Your mother worked in the same place as his parents, and both of you met up when you were both 1-year olds. A small meeting turned into many playdates, some organised by your parents, and some by his. The two of you formed an inseparable bond, and swore to remain best friends forever. Heck, you got him his bey, Forneus! Nobody knows that apart from you two, and it was the bet gift Fubuki had ever gotten.

Your friendship was rather unique, mostly because you were polar opposites. Fubuki was the quiet, calm, rational one. You were the bubbly, energetic and excited one. But that just made your bond stronger. There was no secret between you two.

Your favorite memory was definitely you both cuddling, though. Back at that time, it was completely platonic, and no romance whatsoever. You both would literally cuddle anytime: when you were frustrated, angry, betrayed, or simply tired. Your favorite spot to cuddle was Fubuki's neck. It was just so soft and warm in there!

Years passed. Fubuki confessed to you, and of course you accepted. Now the two of you were even closer: not as friends, but as lovers. Some of your habits changed. Fubuki taught you how to cook, and you made Fubuki into a softer person. He was still a damn tsundere though, only showing affection to you. But one thing didn't change.

Your cuddling sessions.

For example, what happened yesterday.

You returned home, looking really tired. Fubuki noticed immediately. He rushed into the kitchen and returned 10 minutes later with a wonderfully cooked meal. You pecked his cheek in thanks and gobbled the whole thing. Literally. It took you just 2 minutes to finish it.

Not wanting to stay awake any longer, you went off to your shared bedroom where Fubuki was already there. You tumbled on the bed, sighing.

"Long day at work?" Fubuki asked, laying down besides you .

" Yeah.." you muttered, Fubuki bringing you into a cuddling position. You lazily shoved your head in the crook of his neck and snuggled against it.

"What are you doing?" He inquired, snuggling back.

"I don't know...this is my spot, I guess? I just like cuddling here." You sleepily muttered. Fubuki chuckled lightly and gave you a small kiss on your cheek.

"Whatever you say, Y/n. Sleep tight."
