ABOUT THE ALBUM

"You all met Kim Taehyung, but V? I bet you don't know him."

After his successful album last year, Kim Taehyung is back with his new album. It's about the other side of him, named 'V'. V is the side of him that he barely shows to everyone because of his past. And as time and music healed him, he realized he can't be stuck in his past. He started writing a song as this is his way to move forward. The album comes with four V Phases.

V Phase 1, the time he lost himself.
Stigma under the neo-soul genre flows with a moody atmosphere, deep voice, and impressive falsettos.

V Phase 2, he needs to find himself.
Singularity is about being lost, alone, and finding a way to himself.

V Phase 3, finally found himself.
Winter Bear flows with a sweet melody and calming voice.

V Phase 4, healing.
Sweet night tells how having someone beside you will help you more to get better. Inner child, the outro song of his album, tells about change isn't about forgetting who you are. Change is sometimes about becoming who you are.

Taehyung was thankful to his cousin (Kim Seokjin) who's always there for him, Kim Namjoon who help him wrote 4'O clock, to his best friend (Park Jimin) for always being supportive to him, to his boyfriend (Jeon Jungkook) for letting him have V-Side of Scenery and to the producers and staffs for helping him and making this album possible.

He hopes to everyone who will listen to this album may bring happiness, courage, and healing to them, just like how it helps him.
