Two weeks had gone by since Y/N had seen or talked to Jimin. Jimin texted her almost daily, but she refused to respond. She just wasn't ready to see him. The image of him and Lisa was ingrained in her mind and just wouldn't disappear.

On a Saturday morning, Y/N was leaving the house to go grocery shopping. She opened the door to her house and noticed someone sitting against the wall, fast asleep. It was Jimin. She squatted down in front of him and looked at his face in shock. His skin was paler than normal and there were dark shadows under his eyes. He had lost weight and looked exhausted. He seemed tense even in his sleep. I thought I was the one hurting. Why is he doing this to himself over me? she asked herself. Y/N couldn't stop herself from reaching out and touching his silky hair, her fingers brushing the base of one of his fuzzy ears.

At her touch, Jimin opened his beautiful eyes. They were hazy with sleep, but cleared when he saw Y/N in front of him. He held his breath, afraid to move. Afraid she would bolt like a frightened kitten.

Y/N moved her hand from his hair and sat back. "What are you doing here Jimin?" Y/N asked tiredly.

"I needed to see you baby. You won't respond to my texts. I wanted to see you," Jimin explained, his eyes welling up with tears. "Please don't send me away."

Y/N stood up and Jimin's face dropped. She reached out a hand to him, offering to help him up. He looked at her for a second then grasped it like a lifeline. He got to his feet, somewhat unsteadily. Y/N looked at him, worry crossing her features. "You haven't been eating well or sleeping, have you?" Jimin shrugged, holding tightly to her hand as though he were afraid she would run. "Come on," she said as she led him into the house and shut the door. She tugged him along behind her, walking into the kitchen and gestured for him to sit down at the island.

Y/N handed him a bottle of water from the fridge. She got out bread, cheese and butter from the fridge then turned on the burner on the stove, placing a frying pan on it to heat up. She quickly made up a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches then put them on a plate in front of him. She passed him an orange too. "Eat," she said, putting everything away. "Eat," she said again.

Jimin picked up the sandwich in front of him and took a small bite. Y/N watched him, a strange look on her face. Jimin went to say something, but Y/N stopped him. "Eat," she said, "then we'll talk." Y/N walked out of the room, leaving him in the kitchen alone.

A few minutes later, Jimin came into the living room and was surprised to see Y/N was sitting on the sofa with her head in her hands. Jimin sat down on the chair across from her. Y/N lifted her head and Jimin was worried to see tears on her face. "Why haven't you been taking care of yourself?" she asked. Jimin shrugged again, not knowing how to answer her question. He had been so distraught over losing her that he didn't even take his basic needs into consideration. Jungkook had tried to get him to eat, but he could barely keep anything down.

Tears continued to spill down Y/N's cheeks as she sat there looking at her kitty. She had been avoiding his messages for two weeks, but now that he was sitting in front of her, everything she was feeling for him came spilling over at once.

Jimin's heart broke at the tears streaming down her face. He wanted to go to her, but didn't think he could handle it if she rejected him again. "I'm so sorry baby," he whispered. "I'm sorry for everything. I swear it's not what you thought it was. I was standing at the vending machine. When I turned around, she was right behind me. I almost knocked her over, so I reached out to make sure she didn't fall. She kissed me. I didn't even kiss her back," Jimin's voice broke on the last sentence.

Y/N shook her head. "I don't know what to believe," she whispered, her voice dejected as the image of Jimin and Lisa came flooding back into her mind.
